A slower pace of inflation is not the same as deflation. Inflation at 3.2% means prices are still RISING.
You, or whatever idiot wrote this for you, are either dishonest, innumerate or both. Whenever a politician uses the words "let me/let's be/we've been clear" deception surely
Let me be clear to any corporation that hasnโt brought their prices back down even as inflation has come down: Itโs time to stop the price gouging.
Give American consumers a break.
If you're unfamiliar with a divisive issue, unwilling or unable to study history, struggle to distinguish right from wrong, or good from evil, and curry favor by parroting a handful of talking points cribbed from other plagiarists, here's a cliff notes version.

For over 75 years, beginning with the Page Act, until the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, the US discriminated against Chinese by restricting or prohibiting immigration to the US. Race-based admissions was wrong then, and it is wrong now.

2) Everybody (including gun owners) wants to keep guns out of the hands of disturbed people like Cruz, Roof, Lanza. Clearly plenty of common ground. Start there.
Don't point fingers, which lacks both sense and compassion and only stirs the pot.
Simply blaming inflation on war in Ukraine, shutdowns in China is lazy, dishonest and harmful.

Hard to see how the street views $AMZN results quite so favorably. $14.3b NI less 11.8b Rivian = 2.5b net operating income which would represent a big YoY Q4 decline. Perhaps a bounce off 12% underperformance v. NDX since mid-Nov? Not great

Too many local politicians treat this as someone else's problem or act as if it is unfairly their problem alone when it inevitably arrives at their doorstep, so I'm not normally inclined to defend them,

? Bacon >$17/lb? Iโm guessing breakfast of eggs, bagels, bacon, homefries, juice and some fruit was $40 for those 4 hungry teenagers. So for $21,500/yr (post-tax) youโll cover gasoline for two

Respectfully Mr. Buffett, doubling your net worth may not make you happier, but there are many Americans with limited capital or none at all. In a capitalist society -which I love and advocate btw - that can be an unhappy place. In a lower strata than yours, studies may disagree.

Nothing "uplifting" about repealing anti-discrimination laws. You're not fighting for equal opportunity for all. You're fighting for the power to grant preferential treatment to groups YOU choose; the precise opposite of equal opportunity. Stunning

Discussing COVID-19 and the risks isn't fear mongering and it isn't pessimistic. Asking for aggressive preventative action and planning is actually optimistic, not fatalistic. It assumes we comprehend risk, and have some control over how this plays out.
If you are short an instrument you can lose more than the amount you shorted. If you buy an instrument (such as $XIV that is short) your max risk is what you paid BUT the underlying fund/product may bust when those thresholds are hit.

Those that oppose the current administration, but also oppose socialism should say so.

uses an interesting analogy. Rates have been artificially compressed, if they spike too quickly, the markets will experience decompression sickness aka "the bends". Bubbles can form in, or migrate to, any part of the body (market?) so symptoms will vary.
