NRP was on display at last week's Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival in Annapolis. Cpl. Dupree and RO's Looney, Nieves, and Nicodemi gathered to celebrate the perseverance, education, and heritage of Africans, African Americans, and Caribbeans of African descent.

Ofc. Whittington and Ofc. Street recently noticed this family practicing water safety while on patrol! "I got caught wearing my life jacket" shirts were given out for their proactive measures. PFD's MUST be worn by children less than 13 and underway on a boat less than 21 feet.

Ofc. Henderson attended a "Hunter's Night Out" celebration last week, interacting with the community in Garrett County. Visitors received junior officer giveaways and spent time learning about local hunting regulations and enforcement. Thanks to those who spent time with us!

Assateague State Park, along with other beaches along the Maryland coast, is experiencing a significant amount of medical waste washing onshore. Access to the ocean will be restricted at this time. No swimming, wading, surfing, or any activities in the ocean are permitted.
