My son Isaac; diagnosed autistic at 21 months. Told he would never talk properly, then he’d never cope in mainstream then never get GCSEs, certainly not anything higher. But he proved them wrong and here he is holding his 2:1 degree certificate in accountancy and finance👏🏼

Honestly people are over dramatising ULEZ. London reg taxis, disabled badge holders,transport carrying disabled people, electric cars, hybrid cars, petrol cars/vans under 18yrs old & diesel cars/vans <8 yrs old don’t have to pay a bloody thing. Over 90% of vehicles are unaffected

Was reminiscing my first car which was a beautiful mini with a walnut dash. Who remembers cold days when you needed to pull out the choke to start the engine but not too much or it would flood & you’d have to wait 5 minutes & try again? It’s a wonder we ever got anywhere on time.

I remember being a newly qualified teacher pre-Ofsted & being told an HMI was coming to check on me. He spent an hour in my class, asked if I was coping with the workload & commented how well organised the classroom was & the children seemed happy. That’s it. How times change.

I know size doesn’t matter but having lost c3st since summer my clothes are all drowning me so picked up a cheap pair of size 12 jeans in Asda thinking I don’t think they’ll fit yet but they will soon. Was thrilled this morning that they fit so easily I prob could have got a 10🥳

Can I point out that I’m not tweeting in self interest, I do not work for the NHS and I don’t pay to park at work but I think it’s wrong to charge them to park in a hospital car park. I would extend this to university staff and council staff too.

I didn’t buy flowers and place them against a royal building but I bought 2 bunches of roses 💐🌹 One for my 84 year old mum and the other for her 86 year old sister (my aunt) who lives next door to mum. Rightly or wrongly I thought the still living would appreciate them more

I’m so happy for people who have strong committed lasting relationships but seriously find it difficult to make people understand that I really enjoy being single in my 50’s & am not lonely & sad but relish the freedom & have absolutely no need or wish for a man in my life🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for all your responses. The whole reason I tweeted this was to open up debate and I appreciate your opinions. I honestly was not aware of people booking several restaurants and choosing which one to go to at the last minute, which is totally unfair to the restaurants

Is anyone really surprised that Johnson is having a party at Chequers this weekend instead of attending emergency Cobra meeting to discuss how mitigate pressure on NHS during extreme weather crisis? He’s simply ending his time as PM in exactly the same way as he started it.
