Earlier this year, I learned to swim for the first time. I had an extensive endometriosis surgery in May that did not go well, and my doctors said that swimming would help with my protracted physical recovery — so after 30 years of avoiding it, I finally took swimming lessons.

This is not true. Firstly, the UK is famously one of the easiest places on earth to win a libel suit. In fact, the government is in the process of reforming libel laws here because it is TOO easy for someone to win and because the jurisdiction is seen as too plaintiff-friendly.

So my partner got covid over Christmas and was very ill and coughing a lot, and our youngest cat got very concerned about him as he never gets sick. So now every *single* time one of us coughs he makes this adorable little “are you okay?” noise and oh my god my heart 😭

The person who showed up as "Juror 15" was born in 1970. But the person who was summoned for jury service was born in 1945. The two people share the same last name and the same address, according to the filing, but the wrong member of the household sat on the jury. #DeppvHeard

MYTH 1) The UK case, in which a judge ruled that Depp has physically abused Heard 12 times, was a "sham", that Depp wasn't allowed to present evidence, that the judge didn't hear the same evidence as in this trial, or that it's very hard to win a libel trial in the UK.

So these two texts, taken together, are v important. It seems that at least three people witnessed this kicking incident — Deuters, Heard and Depp. The jury heard only AH's uncorroborated account. But in these messages, BOTH of the two other witnesses seem to corroborate it.

And this is another big one: allegations that Depp's team edited the AUDIO used at trial — and you'll all remember how crucial these clips were — were not allowed to be put to the jury. Ackert said that the clips were “‘modified’ days before their production in this case.”
