DID YOU KNOW: A spin-off game to the Epic Mickey franchise was planned called 'Epic Donald'.

FIRST LOOK: A survey has gone out to consumers asking on interest in the new Garfield movie coming out next year.

DID YOU KNOW: The Academy commissioned Sony Pictures Animation to do an animated nomination message with Flint Lockwood from 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' for the 2010 Oscars (in the case it got nominated).
Since the film didn't, the message has never been shown before.
DID YOU KNOW: In 2016, The Banana Splits was greenlit for a reboot by Warner Bros. done by people who previously worked on 'The Aquabats! Super Show!' and 'Yo Gabba Gabba'.
A pilot was completed but Warner Bros shelved the project.
The pilot remains unreleased and thus lost.

DID YOU KNOW: The Plants vs Zombies movie at DreamWorks (that's had multiple pieces of concept art be found through the years) was only a pitch.
The film never made it to even the development phase.
The concept art was made to help pitch it to DreamWorks as a full film.
DID YOU KNOW: There's an early cut of the Super Mario Bros. Movie that features only tracks from Brian Tyler.
In post-editing, Illumination decided to replace certain tracks of Brian Tyler's with pop songs instead.
Luckily, the original tracks are at least on the soundtrack.
DID YOU KNOW: The short film "The Spider-Within: A Spider-Verse Story" is considered lost.
Artists from the project wonder why it wasn't included along with Across the Spiderverse's digital release.

Robert Lopez and Kristen Lopez (Frozen) wrote seven songs for the film.
'Remember Me' made it in but multiple songs were cut. Only three of them are included in the film's bonus features.
The rest remain lost.
DID YOU KNOW: In the early 2010's, an MMORPG game based on 'Tom and Jerry' was developed called 'Tom and Jerry World'.
The game was only seen briefly in a Japan-exclusive beta test, barely anything remains from the game.

The cancelled Disney movie My Peoples is an unfortunate example of when something has so much POTENTIAL, yet ends up getting cancelled.
Seriously, Disney cancelled this movie for Chicken Little.

DID YOU KNOW: Before the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared series we have now, the show was to be done in the U.S with Conaco.
A pilot was done and shown ONCE at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
Because of creative differences, the crew left Conaco and the pilot was never shown again.
DID YOU KNOW: Bluey had two pilots created.
A 1-minute pilot in 2016 that creator Joe Brumm said "....was just unsafe. You could never put that on kids TV."
Then, a 7-minute pilot was released a year later that ended up becoming the episode "The Weekend".
Both are lost.
We strongly recommend someone out there record/archive the entire Nickelodeon Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday, February 11th.
The broadcast will be LIVE and when released to streaming platforms, it will likely be altered.
DID YOU KNOW: In 2004, a CGI-animated film based on Berkeley Breathed's Opus the Penguin was in the works.
To experiment with bringing the character to the big screen, a 2-minute test animation was created.
The short test isn't available online, only images exist.
DID YOU KNOW: An animated adaptation of the Broadway musical 'CATS' was a project Steven Spielberg's animation studio 'AMBLIMATION' had in production before being shut down in 1997.
The film fell through due to disagreements between the film's producers and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
DID YOU KNOW: Reel FX (Book of Life, Free Birds) was developing another animated film called 'Wish Police'.
Directed by the same trio behind 'Nocturna', it's unknown how far the film got before cancellation.
