Officers are responding to Littleton High School on the report of an armed party. The school is on lock down. LPD is aware of multiple false calls at schools today, however until determined or otherwise LPD is treating this as a legitimate call.
LPD was dispatched to reports of a possible explosive device today. The device was found behind a Safeway, located at 181 West Mineral Ave.LPD and

James Daigle was taken into custody today by the

on a Littleton Arrest Warrant issued on 12/11/23. Daigle is charged with 2nd Degree Arson, 2nd Degree Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Endangerment.

There is heavy police activity in the neighborhood behind Cherry Cricket near Littleton Blvd. and Huron. Littleton Police are actively searching for an individual. Residents, please shelter in place. PIO en route.
Sometimes it is the little things. LPD SRO Officer Beals has been working with the Binning Family Foundation to get a bike donated to an exceptional student who had a need. Today they were able to present not just the bike, but a helmet, lock, and even a water bottle.
LPD is clearing the school. No reported injuries at this time. We are asking parents and all to please stay away from the area. We will have more updates as soon as possible.
Littleton Police make an arrest following a house fire in the 6100 block of Spotswood Drive on Friday, May 20. 43-year-old Jessica Leann Williams was arrested on charges of fourth-degree arson.

Last week Littleton Police Officer Redmond had some help. Four-year-old Jax wants to be a police officer when he grows up, so Officer Redmond was showing him the ropes. They worked the crosswalk at Euclid Middle School and checked different rooms for robbers.

The Southwest Plaza Mall has reopened after an extensive search was conducted using deputies, officers and K9s from multiple jurisdictions. The original threat to the mall appears to be unsubstantiated and no actual threat was located on scene.

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, The Littleton Police Department (LPD) charged 39-year-old Beth Ann Hutchinson with Careless Driving Resulting in Death. Following the fatal crash that killed 13-year-old Liam Stewart.
The two individuals in custody attempted to flee the scene, were chased by LPD officers, crashed in

Corporal Jeffrey Farmer of Littleton, Colorado Police Department was awarded a Medal of Valor this morning. When his partner was shot in a fire fight, he warded off the shooter and pulled his partner to safety. His partner survived.

Arrest Made in Shooting on Big Dry Creek Trail.
LPD arrested a 14-year-old juvenile at 1:20 this morning. The arrest was made after members of the LPD investigations team conducted a search warrant in the 1300 block of S. Lowell Blvd. in Denver.
LPD had a special helper on patrol today. Making sure everyone obeyed traffic rules and went the speed limit. Lloyd, Littleton's Elf on the Shelf, will not hesitate to give out tickets (and he is known to tell Santa 🎅) Please pay extra attention and give yourself plenty of time.
