@TherealNihal
Good grief this isn’t right. A BBC employee openly insulting the very people who pay his wages? You’re heading for your very own Gerald Ratner moment - you need to stop 🛑

@AllisonPearson
I still feel absolutely furious that I was pressured/coerced/bullied into letting my children have it. In my gut I knew it was unnecessary 😡
@LauraPAuthor
Sorry to burst your bubble but Eddie was born a biological male and he will die a biological male. Doesn’t matter how he dresses or what he ‘feels’ he is. He’s a man dressing up as a woman. It’s not hateful to say that and you’d be doing your child a favour if you can discuss it
@KingBobIIV
I think many of the UK’s Windrush generation (my dad) would relate to this. They were so desperate to integrate, learn the customs etc and faced real, cold, hard racism when they arrived but worked hard, didn’t get any handouts but made successful lives here and contributed loads
Quite breathtaking hypocrisy here. Where was the Labour condemnation for the mob intimidation of the
#Batley
school teacher forced into hiding? Didn’t that go “too far” or is it only MPs that should be protected?
“Some of these protests are now crossing the line”
Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves says some pro-Palestinian protestors are going too far and that there is now “intimidation of MPs”

@theworldofmomus
You’re right. The constant agitation of racial tensions and upsetting of communities by the Leftist commentators is extremely disturbing.
I'd like the media to accurately define the term
#FarRight
each and every time it's used to describe people. It seems to be increasingly used in a variety of contexts and always without proper explanation. Lazy journalism
💥Anonymous Home Office official explains why no matter who is Home Secretary, Britain's borders will remain wide open:

It’s probably time to end your trial period and revert back to a single sex women only toilet, or make the men’s available to all. Why is it always women who have to be accommodating?
Quite shocked and saddened by how little coverage this awful attack in
#Uganda
has merited. Are we now so immune to
#Islamist
-terrorism that we just accept it as the norm? Those poor children….

@metpoliceuk
I sincerely hope that if any one of these brave officers has to discharge their weapon in the line of duty that she will not later find herself being dragged through the courts and her life & career ruined because she acted in good faith to keep our streets safe.
@SpeechUnion
It’s absolutely vital that ALL religions, beliefs and ideologies must be open to criticism, questioning and mockery, even if it makes people uncomfortable
@DanielRosney
I just wish the BBC had applied this rigour when lockdown began instead of just blindly reporting the daily covid death figures (providing no context on normal average death rates) and endlessly interviewing guests who advocated for stricter rules, longer lockdowns ...
This is now a depressingly familiar scene - where’s the shock and outrage at the horror of this? We’ve become conditioned in a very short space of time ….

An unforgivable, evil dereliction of duty by the authorities all in the name of not ruffling feathers and smoothing ‘community relations’. These young girls were absolutely thrown to the wolves
#groominggangs

@Sal_Robins
Incredibly concerning for females. Parents - and teachers during PHSE - need to talk honestly to their teenagers and explain that it's not a normal part of heterosexual sex and can irreversibly damage young women

I gently suggest that if a country's national anthem offends one then perhaps one should simply excuse oneself from the proceedings? Or purchase ear plugs.
@JournalistJill
It blows my mind that people don’t get this. I brought up my kids to be gender neutral in that there’s no such thing as a ‘boys’ or girls’ colour/toy/hobby’ they could do what they liked regardless of their sex. Sex and gender are different - conflating them is mad.
One of the best things parents can do is to have an agreed ‘tech switch off time’ every single night. Phones off, put in a drawer every night at 7pm for example. Lets kids sleep, rest, digitally detox, protect from predators, bullies
@DigitalSunset7
Smartphones connect children to an online world where predators go unchecked. Immersing our kids in this Wild West is not freedom. Those who claim social media is good for children, or that banning it is ‘censorship’ are playing into the hands of Big Tech.
@rakibehsan
Well, quite. My family moved from town to country when I was 8, white mum, black dad and a brood of brown kids. People generally just treated us like human beings!

you’ve been unbelievably courageous in your determination to help those poor girls who were sacrificed at the altar of “community relations” keep speaking up and out 🙌🏼
@lensiseethrough
Damn right it shouldn't have ever have been allowed to happen. I think we will look back at this period and wonder what the hell everyone was thinking, allowing children unfettered access to the internet ...
@Miss_Snuffy
I had to complain to my daughter’s (all girls) school when they randomly began referring to her in written correspondence as ‘they’ and ‘their’. I never received a reply….
We know that mobile phones are a source of distraction and bullying in the classroom
Yet, 40% of 14-year-olds report that their lessons were disrupted by phones
So today, we’re banning phones in schools

My kids are now 19 & 17 and have for many years been politely dismissive of the genderwoo stuff despite some of their friends being taken in - thank goodness all is not lost

Goodness me
@GoodwinMJ
you have absolutely 100% nailed it here. Thank you for putting into words, things I have been noticing and feeling for years. We are in big trouble as a country and at the moment I simply cannot see anyone capable and committed to lead us out of it ...
An important article on Katharine Birbalsingh and France’s own secularism battle and how Britain has become increasingly ’cowed’ by cries of

I think one day Lisa Nandy will feel utterly ashamed that she bought into this dangerous ideology and compromised the safety of women and girls
