Abuelitas are the source of inspirations for many of us and they are also the source of remedies.
Some of them have not been proven by a phase 3 clinical trial but they work!
Share with us your abuelita remedies.

Diversity doesn't mean lowering the quality.
The MCAT doesn't measure success or capacity to be a doctor, it measures ability in responding standardized exams, it's a means test
Doctors from minoritized backgrounds serve patients anywhere regardless of race/ethnicity.
"Getting minority docs to better serve minorities..."
So many doctors are poor at diagnosis, go by unscientific practice standards, and don't read research.
Personally, I want a doctor who's good over a doctor who matches my skin color. PS Likewise, I have a male gynecologist.
We are only 8 followers away from 1500!
Help us reach our goal.

Remember, you may be the reason a young Latina may decide to pursue a career in medicine.
You can be their inspiration/role model.

I’m wondering if most PDs know that med schools in Puerto Rico (there are four) are LCME accredited and part of the US allopathic system.🤔 Some PRican med students are excluded from US-only opportunities because PDs
d o n ‘ t know this.

In Latin America we have many traditions around the holidays.
Latinx are often seen as one group but we are diverse and beautiful within.
Share with us your holiday traditions.

Only about 6% of Latinos are physicians so excuse me if I’m proud to be a first generation Latina going to medical school. Seeing this comment on my Instagram page where I share advice and motivation for premeds (for free 😉) was disheartening, but when they go low, we go high!
Please share! Calling all
