Coach Nash might not be the best at social media, but he has a little something to say to his Lady Jays and the community that is rallying around him right now, so...straight from the heart of Coach Nash:
On Tuesday night, Coach Nash's brother, Ryan, took his own life. After the Lady Jays won the district championship, they found out about what their coach was going through. Now the Lady Jays are rallying around the whole Nash family & showing the true meaning of

Sometimes it’s hard to find the words to explain why this past season of soccer felt so different and special. Thanks to Greg Woods of the KC Star for listening to our stories and finding the words for us. He nailed it.
#UnitedinPurpose
That’s our Coach Nash! Our fearless leader, our passionate commander, the heart and drive behind it all! This honor couldn’t be given to a more deserving man! Congratulations, Coach Nash!
#UnitedinPurpose
One of the Lady Jays’ biggest fans is 5-year-old Layla who has come to so many games and talks about soccer and the Blue Jays constantly! So when Layla had surgery on her leg, we just had to pay her a little visit! We are rooting for you, little future Blue Jay!
#UnitedinPurpose
We have the best Blue Jay fans in the stands! Thank you to every single person who came out to the game today to support these Lady Jays! Wow! Absolutely incredible! Let's do it again tomorrow for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! 🙌🏾
#UnitedinPurpose
The Lady Jays did it again & surprised Coach Nash with a crate full off Nash-approved treats, a special banner, & lots of letters from both his Lady Jays & his Blue Jays from the boys team. He didn’t think he had any tears left, but turns out he was wrong. He’s okay with that.
As of yesterday, LHS has another Coach Brewer in the house! Congratulations to our Coach Lauren Heinisch who tied the knot with Coach Dustin Brewer! We wish you every happiness in your marriage, Coach Brewer²! 🤵🏽👰🏼
Thank you to all of the parents, families, alumni, friends, and fans for coming out to the game and cheering us on to victory! We saw you, we heard you, and we sure appreciate you! Such a great day to be a Blue Jay! 🙌🏽
Congratulations to Jericho Frigon as we celebrate her next step as a student-athlete at Kansas State University! She will be an incredible Wildcat, but we are just glad we get her as a Blue Jay for one more season! So proud of you, Jer! Big things are ahead for you!
Happy Birthday to our manager, Grant! There is no way we could ever find a more loyal and committed member of our program! Thanks for all you do for us, Grant!
Heads up, Lady Jays! This will be Coach Danze’s last season…as Coach Danze. A new name change is coming this summer! Congratulations to the happy couple!💍
After a tough three days of games, the Lady Jays finished the Platte County Tournament with the title of “Champions!” That’s a fun way to spend spring break! 🏆 Thank you for all your hard work in hosting this tournament,

!
Congratulations to Abby Watts, recipient of the Blue Jay Nation Scholarship award, which includes $1000 toward her freshman college tuition! We are so happy for you!

A big shout out goes to
@CoachFrigon
who made sure our Lady Jays stayed warm on this chilly and windy night by offering up his football players' jackets! Thankful that Blue Jays look out for each other! 🙌🏽

A sincere congratulations goes out to our Blue Jays soccer team on their incredible season! We know this ending hurts, but we are all so proud of you! And to this senior class: Your legacy is inspiring and so special. Never doubt your impact, because it is big and it is real.
Fun for the Lady Jays to be recognized as State Champs at

Tonight our Lady Jays played against Lee’s Summit, but the moments to remember were those celebrating Coach Scott Howard. Last home game, last halftime speech, last huddle, last end of the game breakdown. He’s a legend and we are so glad that he has been ours for 23 years.
A new little one has joined the Blue Jay family! Congratulations to Devin Springer and his wife, Ashley, on the birth of their baby boy, Brendan Michael Springer! He was born at 4:45 pm on Friday, Aug. 28 and weighed in at 7 lb, 8 oz, & 21 in long! So happy for you, Coach/Dad!

Today the Lady Jays were recognized for their state championship title at the KC City Council Legislative Session and were even able to see KC from the observation deck of City Hall! A moment to remember, for sure! Thank you so much to Heather Hall, Markus Smith, and Keely!
Happy Birthday to our very own Coach Tyler Nash! You are special to so many people, but especially to
@libsoccer

This tough loss of the district title to Liberty North hurts tonight, but there are so many reasons to feel pride, as well...starting with every single Lady Jay on our roster. Well done, Lady Jays. What a season! What a team! We are proud of you!
It has been 660 days since our Varsity team last played (and became State Champions!) and 683 days since our JV and C-Team played...let's get this party started, Lady Jays!

We are thrilled for Rylie and her decision to continue playing soccer at William Jewell! We are filled with nothing but pride and joy for you! Congratulations, Rylie!
After our 1-2 loss to Park Hill South tonight, our season ended, & it hurts. Not just because of the loss, but because it was the last time that 15 phenomenal seniors would be a part of the Lady Jays soccer program. Thank you, seniors. Once a Lady Jay, ALWAYS a Lady Jay. Always.
Happy Signing Day to Courtney, Madilyn, Gillian, Madigan, Rylie, and Britin! Your Lady Jay soccer family is so proud of you all! The amount of time, energy, and effort that all of you have invested into soccer over the years is so impressive! So much fun to celebrate you!
Thanks to Abby Watts & Rylie May for representing our state championship team at the WIN for KC Women’s Sports Awards Celebration today! Such great representations of leadership and empowerment! Congrats to Colby Kelley, as well! Great job, girls!
Such a special night to honor our five incredible seniors: Bella, Jericho, Chloe, Sanna, and Talia. We are so proud of you! Thank you for all the ways you have impacted our program over the past four years! The Lady Jay legacy is strong because of you!
Congratulations to our very own Shae Turner who received the honor of "Freshman of the Year" at her Kansas State University soccer banquet last night! We are thrilled for you, Shae!
As a result of our large amount of girls who came out to play soccer with the Lady Jays this season, we are glad to have Coach Devin Springer help us out this spring by coaching our second C-Team! We are excited to have him and know that our Lady Jays are in good hands!

Happy Birthday to our athletic trainer, Deanna Neldon, who goes above and beyond to help our athletes and students in so many ways! We hope you have the best day!
The JV (1-0) and the Varsity (3-0) celebrated Senior Night by making sure to get two W's against Blue Springs South for their fellow teammates!

And we’re off! Earlier than expected, but we made it! Complete with our bus driver, Casey! Thank you to all the parents who gifted these Lady Jays with the sweetest baskets of everything a soccer player needs before a big game!
#UnitedinPurpose
Two thumbs up and a very Happy Birthday to Coach Chiku Bikoko, our LHS men’s soccer C-Team coach! All who know Coach Bikoko appreciate his smile, his sense of humor, and his passion for the sport of soccer! Thank you for all you do for the Blue Jays, Coach!
These Lady Jays are playing in the Class 4 State Semifinals tomorrow! This is a BIG ONE! We need all the Blue Jay fans we can get to come out to Swope Soccer Village at 2:00 pm to cheer us on to victory! Let's do this, Jays!

Quite the game tonight for our Lady Jays against Blue Springs South! A double overtime ended with a score of 3-2 with around 2 minutes left! These girls never gave up! Well done, Lady Jays!

Tonight's Senior Supper was special. These seniors are the heart and soul of our program, and this night proves it. "As we continue with our journey, from this moment on, our team plays for you." 💙
Here is a link to a video that gives a glimpse into the special hearts of these Lady Jays as the seniors read a letter they wrote to the family of Coach Nash. 💙
