The work is getting to know everyone individually, their trauma, previous reasons for eviction, helping develop habits that will ensure successful housing long term. Not only paperwork issues! #yyj

Two disabled #yyj residents sheltering in Stadacona are taking concrete steps towards shelter visiting landlords yesterday & paperwork. We bought them dry clean tents and sleeping bags to keep them prepared for a big week. Bylaw just threw it out. @CityOfVictoria

@savestadacona "Helping" those in Sheltering Parks can be breezy enough if you stick to giving away things/food & only chat up familiar faces who communicate calmly. Or if you just occasionally "visit" distress then head home. The real work is with the situation you describe, for neighbours/us.
