Yokai Watch had 17 million in sales, multiple million seller spinoffs, a decently long running anime, multiple films, and a fuckton of merchandise. No Palworld did not in fact gather the same traction. You can support much better options than Palworld as a "Pokemon competitor"

#anipoke Pokemon is better as a slice of life show than it ever was trying to be a shounen and I think the obsession with everything "looking cool" in the anime has utterly and completely ruined the fanbase's media literacy. This stuff is where Pokemon shines most.

I dunno if this was intentional or not, but if the new Zorua and Zoroark forms are Normal and Ghost, that would mean that they have literally only one type weakness, being Dark. The exact same typing as their non-Hisuian forms.

Judging by a lot of stuff I've seen, including within the replies to this tweet, a lot of people REALLY seem to think that the only Pokemon story that can ever exist is when an evil villain attacks and the MC is forced to stop them, when that is so off base it's laughable.

In before people think I'm shitting on BW2. I don't mind it in either scenario really. I like all of the Gyms in both games because, regardless of the puzzles or lack thereof, they all give a great deal of personality and atmosphere and tell us something about the Leaders.

Remember how Ash's Cyndaquil, after being somewhat under-used in Johto, came back in DP and evolved...only to have its only battle be almost entirely skipped for a Team Rocket gag? If this happened in any other series it'd be castrated, but I guess since its DP its ok. #anipoke
