I have been blocked by an investigative journalist #JoshuaBaker for merely asking questions, why can't we listen to the #YazidiWomen - victims of ISIS on the BBC 'investigative' podcast? Is this too much to ask, @bbc5live ? What did I do to deserve this? I am not THE monster here.

I have witnessed these terrible scenes in Pakistan, where political extremists driven by religion inject religion into politics, leading to persecution and oppression of dissent. Every time I hear these chants of "Allahu Akbar" after a political victory, my heart bleeds.

UK - Gipton and Harehills in Leeds, has been won by the … erm ….Green Party. Here the winning candidate makes it clear what his agenda is and it certainly doesn’t sound like it’s the environment “Allahu Akbar” The media has neglected to show you this council result.

Women don't have freedom to refuse to wear hijab in Sharia compliant societies. There's no other betrayal than calling hijab "a matter of choice for women." Our resolute defiance is our resistance to patriarchy that derives its legitimacy from religion. #NoHijabDay #Solidarity

Let's be honest, @NazShahBfd , not your God but it's the British Law that affords you to be MP&many Muslim men chose to vote for you coz you're a staunch supporter of ShariaLaws/patriarchy/misogyny that benefit men. You don't speak for women who are exploited at Sharia Councils.

When hijab- a symbol of oppression- becomes an ultimate tool of evaluating women's intellect and character that is an affront to women's dignity. Proud of those women who refuse to comply with this toxic modesty culture. No validation is needed. #DressedNotOppressed #NoHijabDay

We live in Britain. We're NOT obliged to respect any religion. Religious beliefs can be criticized, mocked, debunked& ridiculed. It's not a crime here. This crime is when school kids receive death threats from Islamists. People have rights, ideas don't have rights. Get over it!

There were 4 boys in total & yet the only teenager you decide to talk about is the Autistic one. Funny that. Using disability to further this unnecessary 'Islamist' narrative is rather gross to witness. The Quran is sacred to millions of us, respect that. No extremism present.

After receiving multiple death threats, the mother isn't pressing charges against anyone. So the matter is not subject to the law of the #UK . Instead, the police officer and the victim have turned to the mosque in a bid to protect her autistic child. A pathetic state of affairs!

This is perversion. Women don't need #hijab .These men need to be civilised. No women should have to cover her hair for fear of offending religious sensibilities/inciting"Chemical reactions of men." This mindset is an affront to female dignity and this is what symbolizes hijab.

When I was told the first time I can't offer prayer when menstruating, I locked myself in a room for three days.I felt ashamed&disgusted for not being able to offer prayer.I loathed myself for being 'impure' & I was just 11 years old. Religious piety is thinly disguised misogyny.

What is written in religious scripture is irrelevant. Hijab IS a symbol of women's oppression&burning hijab is an act of defiance against religious misogyny. This attire has long been weaponized to take women's rights away. And my name is MY name, not a Muslim name. Get over it!

The term #Islamophobia deploys a flawed conception of WHAT it's to be a Muslim. -Ahmadi Muslims ain't considered Muslims -Moderate Muslims are treated as pariahs -Dissent is censured bc they don't qualify for the 'perceived Muslimness'. It doesn't protect Muslims as people.
