Unpopular Fact: High School athletes do NOT need to go to 10 college camps this summer. Pick 2-3, tops, of reasonable schools you can get into and potentially play for. Right or wrong, a 6'0" 235lbs c/o 2022 OL should NOT waste their money or their time attending a P5 camp.

During our game Friday, a player from Sun Valley went down with an apparent neck injury. After sending Coach Holt to open the gate for the ambulance, I was about to gather our team to pray for the injured player. However, Brooks Lawing was already leading our team in prayer.

All of us at CFI is saddened by the loss of one of our own, Shiree Howard. Belovedly known as The Queen, she was passionate about the Panthers and loved talking all things sports, especially the prep sports scene around Charlotte. She will be deeply missed.
