Imagine thinking Sigs don’t have serious design flaws.
This is a fully cocked striker fired gun with minimal sear engagement. Surely vertical play between the slide containing the striker and the FCU containing the sear is fine…
Right?
One of the companies I work for is Matador Arms. They have GRACIOUSLY supported building a solid model of their Montgo9 upper for the community to use in designing lowers. AR9 pattern and triggers, no buffer tube required. It's on my Strange Sea.
I have officially withdrawn (under protest) from the

I have seen the word “forfeit” used, but want to make clear, I did not forfeit, and words have meaning.
This is the photo you would have voted on Thursday night on
@OoBLiveShow
As promised.
Da Step.
Tag me in every iteration, even if you heathens ruin it, I want to see your work :-)
No toes in pictures, or I curse your bloodline.
Really think about this. A firearms company (under awesome new ownership) is openly supporting sharing models of their products for our community. That is serious progress.
Any tech questions, I got you. As for cool stuff, they/we have A LOT coming.
Three malfunctions across 2 of the three MCXs present, the one suffering two going down hard enough in the moment that the Det. transitioned to his handgun.
Great work by the seriously pro-level officers, but WTF Sig?
I've seen criticism of them using
I hate warriors, too narrow-minded. I'll tell you what I do like though: a killer, a dyed-in-the-wool killer. Cold blooded, clean, methodical and thorough. Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF-1, would've immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the
Dropbox Beta link is now dead, so I don't get Zucked, or whatever the hell the Dropbox/Twitter form of Zucked is.
Search the strange seas for my name and you'll find the beta, while it's still up.
Amped for the feedback. Stay free.
@FsK919
oh neat -
Well, folks - we have John's sample size of one. He even shot it and it shot "flat" so - ignore all the ADs, guns blowing up, parts breaking, etc.
Thanks John, I'll sleep better now that you've dropped this lifetime of knowledge for us!
@80PercentArms
@RICECUTTA0
That patent would hold up to about 0 scrutiny regardless.
Way to cut off your nose to spite your face.
"to fight for us" - riiiight. The absolute zero sales you lost to DIY hobbyists wasn't going to affect your war chest.
This will.
Getting a lot of Glock fanboy accusations.
I like Glocks like I like DeWalt or Kubota - just tools that work and work well in my experience.
There are def striker fired, steel bodied mag, polymer frame, modular chassis guns that I rather enjoy, they just aren't the shitty
When a pistol that yeets itself quite often yeets firing an ammo with an equal reputation for self-yeetalation, which yeeted first, or did they yeet together?
Is it an OOB?
An overcharge?
Bof?
I cannot in good faith continue in a contest where rules are made up as they go along, walked back, ignored, or redefined. Competition cannot exist in a fair nature without rules. Consistency was my simple request. I only did what previous entries have established is acceptable.
I was offered to use a previous round photo, or allow the contest runners to “photoshop” this one. This being a contest aimed at our art, I found this solution unacceptable. This was my art, and fit perfectly within the established rules.
Sig Copiod crew that read Sig's (and other's) "offical" debunking, claiming the 320 is not fully seated and pointing to the "retention hood"
Safariland hoods don't rotate that far, aren't shaped like that, and don't sit that far forward.
You are seeing a TQ. Smart with a 320.
I truly appreciate each and every one of you who have shown your support, been positive, printed my frame, etc. I appreciate each and every one of my competitors who I feel would gladly faithfully compete for you to decide, rather than via arbitrary decisions.
As I said in my opening. Words have meaning, and one must stand behind their words. That is why I had to come to this decision. I hope that if events like this are held in the future, those running them can and will hold themselves to the same standard.
The rules had clearly been stated, no aftermarket barrels. This is the supplied PATMOS barrel, with a refinish that anyone can do at home. I was offered the chance to create a tutorial, which I did, but still the photo was denied.
25 yr old pizza delivery man runs into burning house, saves four children who tell him another might be in the house. He goes back in, finds the girl, jumps out a window with her, and carries her to a cop who captures the moment on his bodycam.
If you're against the ban on ghost guns, you in essence believe there should be no background checks on gun purchases whatsoever. You believe you should be able to pick up a gun at Ace Hardware next to the hammers.
It would be nice for RMGO to just admit this.

All of you that are printing my entry frame and sending me pics have me so stoked, and proud. I'm amped that you love it!
This

inspired paint job is super sick. Pairs well with that PSA Dagger slide as well.

@p80ralph
Yep, mag makes a difference, but that difference can be overcome with a hard enough hit, a worn mag/mag catch, or an FCU that can move within the frame (which I’ve seen on multiple units)

or myself - but, we never 100% replicate builds like this, each customer gets something unique so value isn't lost, AND we have ADD and don't like doing shit twice.
@fdez_werx
That’s correct. Some slight pressure from the mag stops it.
Until it gets a nice tap in the right direction or your mag / mag catch is worn or on the lower side of tolerance and it still allows this movement.
@chairmanwon
BUT - the CAD doesn't solve the baseline issue. Everyone using my STEP to cut and paste will eventually result in the same degeneration of the standard on some future frame.
We all need to embrace some print data.
@Ripfist
People used to bitch that Legion 226s were a grand, yet they felt special.
A grand for the same plastic thing that everyone else bought for half that, because the grip is longer or there's an extra hole in the slide.. I don't get it.
@nguyenkvvn
@OoBLiveShow
Thank you, sincerely, on both counts.
I was really down today, but the positive support has made one hell of a difference. I literally love all of you.
@TheRustyMosin
Elaborate.
Keep in mind I’m in firearm manufacturing and have taken apart and thoroughly examined many a 320 and hundreds of other models of handguns. The two are intrinsically linked.
Going to have to also watch
@TheBattlecock
video of the same AK for context of this thread:
Gas System length, barrel length, comp vs suppressor.
Watch both videos and pay attention to the cyclic rate and movement of the gun.
@crgsmith80
I've sweat all over 1911 mags, Springfield mags, Glock mags, AR mags, FAL mags, AK mags, Uzi mags, etc.
Not one has ever been oiled, what in the absolute fuck kind of nonsense is that.
None rusted.
Oil on mags is kiddie shit operator error, jesus h man.
Thank you sincerely, each and every vote.
I can't wait until Rd 2, but I love
@krrawn
so it's going to be win-win.
@chairmanwon
thanks for doing what you do, we had the closest race we'll probably see in a minute. You stayed a stand-up competitor.
Good lord did I stir the hornets nest.
If your personality is that invested in a handgun model, that you can't have a reasonable conversation about it's known, and/or potential flaws...
Go the fuck outside or something. Have a real face to face interaction with another adult.
A feed ramp longer than the cartridge. Why? Because the Thompson is bad.
A 25 degree countersink at the bottom of a 3" deep hole. Why? Because the Thompson is bad.
A receiver that seems to target a 0.250" min gauge (in steel). Why? Because the Thompson is bad.

I COMPLETELY agree.

Take a 2021 F150. Full digital whiz-bang gauge cluster, all the PCMs and BCMs you could ever ask for - swap in a lower mileage ebay cluster in 20 minutes. Clean up any build data issues in forscan. Done.

This is the kind of post you make when you don’t know shit about fuck.
The reason behind this mount is legitimate, and a better, cheaper, more robust solution than the $4K 9T that was selected in its place.
Requested by guys that do know shit about fuck.
@fdez_werx
That would be great in theory if they didn’t also keep discharging from impacts - pretty shitty sacrifice for a pipe dream “no lube” BS sales pitch line.
Barrel packages shall be known from here forth as "DQ" Treatment.

I promise a How-To is coming
Just don't use them in a sanctioned comp - unless it's a shooting comp, where they snag trophies.

Ok.
Then we'll make a production version with a friendly company and open source the "modular" parts.
Can you go ahead and give us your patent number so we can work around whatever you think is your own IP?
Never followed up with that survey that

What's your preferred carry handgun brand?
What's your preferred tool brand?
Do you use either professionally?

Glock
DeWalt
Not really, I use both at work, but I'm neither professional tradesman nor armed
