In France, they protest raising retirement to 64 and the whole country protests. Meanwhile in the US, they literally want you to work until you die, and we’re all like this is fine? Why? Americans are like battered spouses who refuse to leave their abuser at this point.

This is what drives me insane about American society and our lack of a healthcare system. If you’re disabled, you aren’t UNable. You do things differently, you might need supports, but you can still contribute. Not in the US, tho. Disabled? Trying? Working? F* you, bootstrap.

@RadicalJesus44 There are people who legitimately ask that. I haven’t met anyone personally who wants to be homeless. I have met people who don’t fit into our system and people who our system has crushed. Would it be that hard to house them instead of criminalizing them?
