One thing we've kind of lost sight of is that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was assassinated by India at a Gurdwara. Killing him at a Sikh place of worship was intentional. They didn't just want to kill Nijjar but strike the Sikhs where they should feel safest. Thank you Brampton

Bhangra has nothing to do with Sikh heritage. The goal of #SikhHeritageMonth is, funny enough, to combat misconceptions such as conflating Punjabi culture with Sikhi. This is a great example of it. Sikhs are often very annoyed by this conflation. CBC needs to do better.
