Also.
The ONLY athlete in the field to stand and cheer in the last finisher.
What an all round lovely person.
I'm so happy for

The fact that the entire field waited for her lap of honour, and their reactions once she was back, says how that is a popular World Record Holder.
Incredible!
A bit overwhelmed by the reaction to the 100m photo. Thank you for the lovely messages. Glad I was able to capture something as insane as that race was.
At 1000 locations across the Netherlands, my photo stars in a New Balance advert celebrating Femke Bol.
It's prettt surreal seeing my ๐ท across the entrance to shopping centres (like this in Utrecht) and stations ๐คฏ๐คฉ๐ณ๐ฑ
Incredibly exciting, if a little surreal, to have my photo across two pages of The Times today! This is probably the biggest thing I've achieved with a camera, and so it comes with an internal feeling of pride ๐๐๐ฑ
I really liked that, having won the 1500m,
@sophieosulli22
was the only athlete wait and clap home the last finisher. A really lovely touch ๐ฎ๐ชโบ๏ธ
No one ran a marathon quite like Kelvin Kiptum. Three marathons, three devastating kicks between 30k and 35k. 14:00 (Valencia), 13:49 (London), 13:51 (Chicago). Such a shame we will not see marathon number four.
Katie Snowden obliterates her PB to 3:56.72 ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Laura Muir 3:56.36 SB
Melissa Courtney Bryant 4:02.79 (first semi)
All three in the final ๐๐
Pleased I got to see Kelvin run in person. A great shame we will never see him race Eliud, nor will we ever know what might have happened in Rotterdam in April. Hard to believe it's true.

Yaroslava, the nicest person and such a formidable athlete. So kind of her to give me this, without being asked, as (her words) for a thank you for the ๐ท during the year.

What a treat for those running to be joined by a World Champion. Is there any other sport where something like that happens, where the best in the world are treated equally as a casual jogger? I love it.
Incredible from Jess Piasecki to run 2:22:27 at the Seville Marathon to obliterate her PB and move to second on the UK all-time marathon list. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I think these guys deserve a huge amount of credit for how they did in Belgrade:
Sam - only 18.
Ben - GB debut / never raced abroad before.
Alex - fastest third leg athlete, 4/24 fastest overall in final.
Guy - stepped in last minute for only his second ever relay (via Pof10).
