Proud day as a coach. I started working with a student when he was a freshman- he was struggling to break 80. As a junior, he qualified and missed the cut by 1 in the Colorado Open (basically a Korn Ferry event) and as a senior just got his 1st D1 offer. 💪
They’re here! 🤤659 TC/MB combo set. Along with other goodies and a sweet lid
@Sub70Apparel
Can’t wait to give them a work out on the range tomorrow with the flightscope.
@Sub70
First round with this beauty-27 putts. I always wanted a black tour finished heavy Newport style flow neck built to my specs, I just didn’t think it would be less than $200. Well done,

What an awesome week. Shout out to
@NebraskaPGA
for putting on a top notch event,
@CederDceder
for hosting, and
@e_bice
and crew for a perfect course. Special shout out the legend
@MikeKrumland
for keeping me loose. Can’t wait till next year!
I played with Alex at local qualifying. We were both +3 thru 11 holes. I pretty much gave up any thought of qualifying, and was happy to hang on and post 75. Alex never gave up, birdied 4 of the last 6 holes and punched his ticket. 💪
Past champion playing right with the young guns! 💪
Omaha's
@Jables61
fires a 64 (-7) and he's currently T3 after his opening round in the 32nd
@WellsFargo
Nebraska Open.
He talks about playing loose and freely and how that allowed him to shoot a great number today. 📹
@JeffBabz62
I took my PAT the day after I shot 62 to win the Nebraska Open. The director actually apologized to me for making me take it. I then proceeded to shoot 75 73 to squeak thru 😂
@DaddyFiles
@realDonaldTrump
A republican bragging about a Rasmussen poll is like my 5 year old bragging about the gold star she got for eating her vegetables.
Disappointing final rd for my club championship😢. I was in contention with 3 absolute sticks thru 12 holes, and I wasn’t prepared for the rain. Granted, it’s been 10 years since I HAD to play in rain that bad, but they handled it like veterans and I folded🤷♂️ lesson learned.
@_consistentgolf
I quit playing competitive golf 11 years ago, and came back to play in my club championship last year. Shot 70 83, with b2b triples. Played in the Nebraska Open the next week, shot 64 71 65 and finished T3. You learn way more from bad rounds than good rounds.
Left a few out there, but 75 wasn’t too bad for my first competitive round in 9 years. Sure was fun watching
@alex_schaake
sac up and birdie the last 3 holes to qualify.
Once again,
@Sub70
@Sub70Apparel
proving why they get my business- custom putter, lid, swag, for @ same $ the competition charges for the adjustable weight set.

Ugh. I used to do calligraphy on those boards as an assistant at the elks. Then my fiancé found I could do it and made me do our wedding invites🤦♂️
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there… I’ve tried to fill that role for my kids the last few years, and it’s hard af. But I’ve had a few good roll models in my life. Miss the ones that have left us, and grateful to all the women still in my life. ❤️
I’ve gotta admit, I’m a 3 wood slut. I’ve tried half a dozen in the last year. But I’ve got a good feeling about this one…

My take is that a bunch of 3 handicap boomers at the USGA and R&A are nostalgic for the days when par was a good score. Seeing pros shoot in the low 60’s on tracks that used to be formidable widens the gap between them and the best in the world. Which is how it should be.
Lots of talk about the
#rollback
, and as a pro in my late 40’s with a chs of 105, I get it. My game is built on precision, and a rollback would be beneficial to me. But can anybody tell me what is wrong with shooting lower scores?
@willwilcoxgolf
Hell yeah, brother. My purpose is being a single parent, so I let my golf slide a bit. Now that life is in order, I’m back to flushing it.
@ClubProGuy
I remember my first PAT. I had just shot 62 to win the Nebraska Open, but those butterflies were jumping as I stood on that 1st tee trying to find the middle of a 70yd wide fairway on a 340yd par 4....
Awesome weekend of golf with
@KyleLeydon
. Got stuck in a downpour at Miracle, he shot 70 from the tips at OCC, and he stuffed a 3 wood from 275 in a scramble at Elmwood. Can’t wait to see what this kid does at Creighton

@MidwestGolfJake
I love meeting them in real life.
“What’s your handicap?”
“+5”
“Well, I’m scratch so i guess I have to give you 5 shots”
Me: “nah, dude- we’ll just play straight up”
@VeryAvgDad
Just have fun. The best golfers I’ve ever played with have one thing in common. They don’t really care what they shoot. Good or bad, there’s always the next round.
@Fit_For_Golf
Totally agree. At age 46, I’m up from 100 to 110 just from speed training. I was
@115
when I turned pro 25 years ago. But the biggest gain is cruising speed throughout the bag. Better balance, better pelvic control, bigger turn.
