Declaring war on the Governor by taking down a qualified and effective commissioner is petty and reckless - does nothing to build good will and cooperation necessary to pass a bonding bill - jeopardizes jobs - more political games MN doesn’t need - disappointing

I’m voting for @JimForMN for AG - Keith Ellison positions on policing have caused harm, his support for dangerous ballot initiative irresponsible - he’s opposed union construction jobs, not just pipelines, St Croix bridge too - Jim will enforce the law, not be an activist #vote

Hard working Americans like our members are paying your debt off for you Mr. Mayor - they also pay your salary - it’s one thing to help working class public servants with debt - to pay off debt of a big city Mayor that makes well over six figures is embarrassingly out of touch

The MPCA should be applauded for following the science and not being intimidated by political posturing - Polymet has passed every test - when it wins the rest of the lawsuits it faces, it is time to mine this year - our members look forward to it

Right to work was overwhelmingly rejected tonight by Missouri voters. Much better to work together on job creation than to push anti-union policies - I’m proud RTW has never gotten traction with republicans here - let’s continue to keep these fights out of MN and focus on jobs

GOP could go to DFL counterparts and negotiate a bonding bill, without tying other issues to it - the bill they voted down in the senate was a good compromise bill with a lot of their projects in it - they are choosing not to, they are choosing politics

No surprise - one side of the industry has workers and contractors jointly spending hundreds of millions of dollars on training and safety - non union side doesn’t make that investment

The copper price isn’t the reason this is happening, copper has always had value - when you tolerate homeless drug addicts on the street, when you dont arrest and prosecute theft, and when you hire community activists and not cops you get this - it’s a choice by politicians

Copper wire thieves hit CenturyLink lines, downing Internet. They cut phones at Parks and Rec Hamline central service facility. They cut cables at 50 E.V. stations in St. Paul. At least 2 traffic signals. AC units…But dark parks and streets are the worst:

If the economy in MN is slowing a bit, it’s a good time for the government to invest more in infrastructure to create jobs - and also time for government to cut red tape to allow massive private investments in our state like Line 3 replacement to start construction this year

Huge! I’m proud that Minnesota secured this investment and will continue to lead the world in medicine. Not to mention the economic impact that $5 billion in jobs and construction will have on Rochester!

Most of America’s cobalt supply is in Minnesota and its substantial - we can mine it here with best regulations in world with workers making good wages - or it will be mined by children in poor nations with no environmental regulations - That’s the choice

This surprises no one that paid any attention to this entire permitting process - it has been years of thorough study, the time for process is over, it is time to build the line 3 replacement project to protect the environment and create jobs

Duluth has the same issues as St Paul - drugs/vagrancy tolerated, violence, empty storefronts, lack of housing, terrible roads, lack of investment in plowing resources and mismanagement, not supporting police and firefighters - encouraged they held their Mayor accountable

In the next 25 years we will need to mine as much copper as we mined in the last 5000 years if we want the the clean energy economy that is being discussed - so if you are against mining, you are against renewable energy - no way around these facts....
