Respectfully - there is sulfide mining happening in the BWCA watershed in Canada right now - Rainy River Mine - since 2017 - BWCA is just fine - also, until you study an actual mine plan, which the ban prevents, you won’t get any real science at all

Apprenticeship programs are the gold standard in training - requiring them for contractors that work in our most dangerous facilities, like oil refineries, is a minimum standard to ensure workers have access to skilled training - it’s a safety issue - and I hope a bi-partisan one
