Save The NHS! I’m asking the govt in the House of Lords on Wednesday what plans they have to stop American Health Insurance companies buying NHS surgeries. Watch this space!
Last night the House of Lords did a power of good, cancelling the most draconian clauses of the Police Bill and safeguarding our right to protest. Bravo!
The more I read about Govt plans to let the American company Centene buy up the NHS the more outraged I am! No one voted for this: it’s coming in on the sly. But not too late to resist!!

watching young people on the news tonight laughing and hugging family and friends over their exam triumphs made my heart ache for those who hadn’t got good marks… and had no one to hug. Don’t despair: life is not just exams… far from it. There are more important things!
Everyone on the alert as the govt’s Health and care Bill gets its first reading in the Commons. Watch out! It is full of threats to the NHS as we know it….
I understand Centene - the American company moving in on our NHS - is facing investigation in the US concerning its financial matters. Does this bode well for our NHS??

Urgent - the Palantir NHS data deal is a huge threat to the NHS, but it still hasn’t been signed, and there are reports that the government is now wavering. This is our chance to get it dropped - sign the petition to the health minister now:
The government roll out of their voter ID scheme is a politically motivated move… hoping that fewer will vote!! This is a disgrace: there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud: straight out of the Trump playbook!!
