Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 and made it self governing. Gaza is governed by Hamas. Areas A & B of the West Bank are self governing, governed by the PA. Before you condemn Israel watch the news and read some history- I suggest you look up the Oslo Agreements.

We all are standing against all forms of hate + bigotry. When it comes to standing up for Palestinian rights & human dignity, our intentions are questioned even though we probably are some of the biggest fighters against antisemitism. This is an attempt to police and silence us.

@SussexFriends This afternoon before we went out to Lidl I caught part of the BBC live coverage and I heard one lady in Parliament say happy Christmas to everyone and Happy Hannukah. I really appreciated the acknowledgement of the Jewish community - this is just stunning. Grateful to the PM.

@SusanSarandon The truth is there was no independent country called Palestine before 1948. Or between 1948-1967. Palestine was ruled by the Ottoman Empire before WWI, and under the British Mandate afterwards. The first time Palestinians had any control of land was in the 1990s- under Israel.
