@PatsKarvelas The issue of women’s safe, single sex spaces needs a much larger discussion. The Let Women Speak events creates opportunities for women to speak. If we hired a hall, the TRAs would threaten the management to cancel the event. 1/

@sullivansa1 I think you protest so much. Can you explain why laws and policy need to be re-written for < 1% of the population, to the detriment of 99%? Simple question, trans ppl have 100% of their human rights. Demanding access to SS and Single Sex spaces is causing yr issues.

@WomenReadWomen Patriarchal Japan might have been. However, they did have single sex spaces for males and females, DV shelters etc. Until the US Ambassador started pushing the Govt to implement laws for trans ppl. Now the women/men have lost their SS spaces. Totally inappropriate from the US 😡
