Message to you AAU coaches, please encourage your players to graduate from college so that they can be employable...there’s only 400 jobs in the NBA so trying to get there is a pipe dream! Why can’t they be Lawyers, Dentists, Teachers, Doctors, researchers, finance leaders?

So Rodney Terry will leave his job at UTEP, and Chris Ogden will leave his job at UT Arlington to go help UT and plus Urick Malagi as the other assistant at Texas. Texas is trying to use Rick Barnes old coaches plus a former AAU Dallas guy to bring UT back to Prominence. Wow!

I am so proud of the young Houston Superstars UA Rise team. In our first tournament #SIB , we went 3-0 and we beat 2 EYBL teams Griffin Elite, and Fleu Di Lis (Randy Livingston), and a big Dallas Sea Wolves team. Our players played together and we played defense.

A little history for you. Marcus Sloan and Floyd McClain played on the best AAU team in Houston’s History. A lot of coaches when they mentioned TJ Ford and Daniel Ewing, I told coaches from around the country, what about Marcus Sloan who I said was one of the best forwards.

The Houston Superstars 17u AAU team finished off being in 1st place in the UA Rise 17u division. We destroyed flight 22 By 24 points today to give us a 6-1 record. We’re the best team in all of the UA And UA Rise teams. Congrats to all of my guys for being very professional…
