13/ Starts getting really awkward once you start throwing meds and surgery into the mix. Puberty blockers, & hormonal meds, are *heavy* meds. They carry big risks, & often cause *irreversible* changes. Bit of a problem if you become a desister, someone who changes their mind

The *really* shocking bit about that paper? Their Conclusion to the paper. Wait for it. Their conclusion is, patients should be warned of the risks (like DEATH, or massive surgery etc. for post-op infections, etc.) of the operation they carried out. And you sit there, aghast.
