Happy #PrideMonth ! The rainbow flag wasn’t adopted until Gilbert Baker made it in 1978 (and it had eight stripes!) but I like how Iris has become a bit of a Classicist’s Pride flag. She’s always in my classroom as a symbol of both teaching and friendship🌈 Love is Love x

#ClassicsTober Day 20: Clothing I spent two years designing all the characters for the Amarantus Project. Much research was done into their clothing and styles and dye colours in different areas of society, and other questions (like what even is a ‘synthesis’ for Saturnalia?!)
