I don't tend to comment on specific instances of operator conduct but am making a rare exception. 🧵 In January a guy opens an account with a regulated online casino operator. He deposits £1,500 with no source of funds checks and immediately starts playing a live casino game..

194. Specialisation (2) - 2024 provides an event that is perfect for specialisation. These are the sorts of events you should be targeting. Once every four years when the bookmakers feel obliged to offer events but really don't want to. I am of course talking about the 2024

Let's not let affordability checks cloud the issue, that both online and in retail shops, that these bookmakers still continue to behave like absolute cowboys. Restrict me. Ban me. Whatever your pathetic organisation needs. You need to pay up and out though in a timely manner.

A tremendous day for the betting industry. As per @SBCinfo Sports Nation goes tits up not honouring ante post bets. That also means Red Zone Sports as per an email I have just received. Added to @paddypower asking customers for ID to collect golf winnings. What a shambles.

I have now done 50 tweets relating to the betting industry and things for people to look out for or how they could potentially improve their skillset. I realise not every tweet will be relevant to everyone and many will know a lot about what I am saying already.

Eventually people and the media will recognise the betting industry for what it has become. One of the biggest grifts of our time. The big legalised betting industry where you can only participate in it if you are a loser. Ordinary, marginal players discarded from the industry.

I completely agree with the principle here that Bruce makes. What frustrates me and I will write about it at length is that @brucemillington has been absolutely complicit in what has happened. Doesn't deserve the right to try and portray himself as trying to help the punter now.

This account fascinates me. It makes you question everything you do and have been doing. He specialises in prop markets for NFL and NBA. These are widely regarded as some of the softest markets around. On the one hand you have all the classic tout behaviour. Winning made easy.

Even if you ignore all the questionable and scummy behaviour from the bookmakers, the one right every customer should have is the ability to win. If you remove that, then you shouldn’t have an industry called betting.

Let's stick with @DJohnsonPGA . This event was the WGC HSBC Champions in Nov 2015. This was a pre event bet. There was also one on Justin Thomas at 33/1 for £5k. Had been no in running bets. DJ ended up finishing this event T5th four shots behind the winner Knox. That doesn't

Just another day in this wonderful industry. In order to place bets in the 'legal' 'regulated' market you must trust these companies with an increasing treasure trove of your data. Not just data but an ever increasing amount of invasive personal data. Oh yes please. We trust

The RP really have rolled them all out to try and hit the 100k target. Yet another 'journalist' who is more than happy to jump on the bandwagon at this late stage. My favourite part of the article was the following; Do you think any of that is a good idea? No, me neither, but I

Update on collecting winnings. Eventually decided to provide ID as they wouldn’t budge. Took 40 mins in shop for a DL and utility bill to be uploaded. 3 days later and still not approved. @GamRegGB this is how the big 3 deal with those who try and get paid. More than a month now

It has simply gone too far now. One of the Gambling Commissions three stated aims is, 'ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way'. How anyone can think that objective is being met with the current situation is beyond me.

At this point I need to adjust my statement from earlier. Change the words 'majority of' with 'losing'. Losing customers have never had it so good. Let's be clear if you have shown even the slightest inclination of being successful you will be hounded out of this industry.

A few observations from the Arsenal Villa game yday. Arsenal didn't bottle it. It is incredibly hard to win game after game. So many things have to go your way. We take it for granted. Same with Liverpool. Liverpool would have won readily on a different day. Everyone looks at
