I have found the opposite to be true. Privileged people are fine with distancing and shut downs because they can work their white collar jobs from home, have low income people deliver things to them and have big backyards to enjoy the outdoors in.

Related theory: Most of the people who object to social distancing rules are well off. They are used to consuming goods and services at will and not used to being told they can’t do or have things. Low-income people are accustomed to not getting what they want anyway.
