Hi Neil thanks for your advice. I noticed you are a keen home cook so I grabbed a couple of your recent photos to return the favour with a friendly bit of guidance… Perhaps just cook everything five or six hours less so it’s all not so dry X☺️

@GaryUsher_ @hispibistro This is pretty rubbish, a chef that doesn't even know not to put eggs direct on China, if you're not gonna elevate them on some potato cakes or a fried slice just serve scrambled,streaky bacon but no back bacon and I'd be ashamed to serve that council toast. 2/10

I annoyed a lot of middle aged men last week with literally a photo of a fry up but my favourite comment in a conversation between two angry men was “he’s an absolute fart yanno always crying on social media but I had his cod & parsley sauce at Kala & tbf to him was incredible”

The last two years has been the most difficult of my entire career & I’m doing everything I physically can to keep us going. The guest chef series is fantastic & I’m unbelievably proud & lucky to be in a position to do it but it’s not us showing off. It’s us surviving.

He put our electric up @TheWhiteHorsePu to 400 quid a day for 12 months. Obviously I couldn’t pay it so he’s put me on a debt repayment plan. It’s a small 60 seater country pub & quite honestly he’s nearly closed us down. He’s basically mafia without a gun. It’s extortion.

Hard to say this stuff but it’s the truth about business at the moment. Before I’m attacked about minimum wage going up that’s not my point, I love minimum wage going up, it’s everything else around it going up that’s making it impossible… For many in the industry. Not all 🙏

We opened @PINIONbistro in 2018 & I’ve never got the offer right. We launched a new concept/menu there this week & for the first time in 6 years people are reading the menu in the window & coming in to eat. I’m probably a bit too emotional but this is tipping me over the edge ❤️

I love this pub, I always have & I wish Green king would just give it to me… because it’s beautiful & it deserves to be loved & looked after. I hope whoever Green king rent it to loves it like I would, I hope the Bunbury can be happy whoever looks after her, I’ll always love her
