After a very long wait there's a new version of GB Studio available today! Some great new features to play with and plenty of bug fixes. Once again lots of help from the community, thanks everyone!
Over a year since the last beta, we’ve skipped right over to GB Studio 3.0 to mark the big changes that our new game engine will allow, both now and in the future.

It's been a while since an update, how about a quick look at the upcoming sprite animation states feature, define multiple animations per sprite and switch them on the fly! You can even use it to play in the tall grass!
Just released the second beta for GB Studio 2.0.0 fixes a bunch of the bugs seen in beta1 and adds a few new features! Thanks to everyone who contributed in this release!
Just released GB Studio 3.0.3. Another big bug fix release, now with less kernel panics, lots of music editor fixes and support for 16-bit numbers in all math events!

Just released GB Studio 3.0.1. If you were unable to save music files, migrate or build your project or couldn't override button actions check out this latest bug fix release which fixes some of the early issues seen in GB Studio 3.0.0
Just released GB Studio 3.0.2. If you were having problems building because of GBSPack, saw corrupted data when using empty sprites or couldn't copy and paste in Ubuntu try this version for these fixes and more.
Beta4 is here! Fixes text overflow issues from beta3, adds more control to overriding palettes, new camera shake options, copy/paste improvements and more!
The next version of GBDK will add support for SEGA Game Gear and Master System how cool is that?

The current color feature only lets you choose a single 4 color palette for the entire game. Working on an update that will allow 8 palettes per scene to allow 32 colors total and different colors every scene! Each sprite can use a different color palette too.

unfortunately there’s no events for switching color palettes just yet, but I’m working on a big update that will expand the color support quite a bit so I’ll keep your request in mind ;-)
