Prep Hoops Girls/Boys Scout, IAABO Board 27 Ref, Assistant Girls basketball Coach King Philip, Assistant golf Coach Newton South, Springfield College class 2020
I’m trying to write about as many players as I can from the prep hoops New England boys/girls expo in the coming days. If I missed anyone and you want a write up please reach out. Lots of players were in attendance so it’s possible I missed some.
@CarlsonKhalil
6’3 SF Khalil had an all around game. Showed his athleticism with 2 dunks, able to play inside and out, and is a playmaker who can take his game to the next level

@angelys_alvarez
was player of the game. Played super hard, had many crafty finishes, and finished over bigger defenders. Angelys played with that mamba mentality

Anthony was player of the game in the first game. He was a great floor general, showed his mid range game, and defensively was a pest Very vocal on the floor leading his team.

Expo. 2025 Point guard at the masters prep school
@NEPrepBB
@CoachFrancis31
Asante Kiio. Another high flyer in the building at the Expo. He showed his high level athleticism today, and he can jump out of the gym. He had many high level finishes. Lots of upside to his game

Great to be able to see many of my former players making an impact for the Newton North and Newton south boys teams at the garden city classic. Known many of them since 4th grade
That’s a wrap on the Battle for the stars showcases.
@BallNeverLies_
@PrepGirlsHoops
. That is all the videos I have. It was a good competitive game. Writes ups and articles coming soon.
@LWAVT
@PGHNewEngland
Sophia Rockwood played great defense with active hands in the passing lane, cut hard to the basket, did well reading the defense📕, and attacked off the dribble.
#pghnewenglandtop250expo
Sarah Muir played with high energy all day. She finishes well on both sides through contact, handles ball well, a point guard who you can trust to run the offense.
@PGHNewEngland

@JulianVanHoeck
defended well all day, was efficient from the field, and found the open teammates. The 6’5 wing impacts the game in multiple ways, He is only a sophomore and should be on your radar.

@PHNewEngland
really impressing me early on in the game. In the right place at the right time. High basketball IQ, and made some crafty finishes at the rim over bigger defenders
@AvaKraybill25
. A skilled guard who plays with a high motor. Can score at three levels, and can play PG or SG. Did a good job taking care of the ball, and communicates well on defense.

Been to a number of high school boys and girls tournament games recently. So many Great atmospheres and great games. This is what high school basketball is about!
It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that
@FeinbergJustin
will be joining our staff this year! He will be mainly a Varsity Assistant but will be helping out at all levels too. He brings an excellent scouting eye and strong defensive principles to the team.
Still no mention of the Over the back foul in the book. Lol
I feel like every ref should wear a shirt that says over the back is not a call!
Can’t be a foul without contact and you can’t be penalized for being tall
