Sebastian Thomas
Isaiah Earl
Andre Johnson Jr.
Michael Rogan
Amir Trice
Just Perez
Mathew McCool
Less then 10 minutes in and Darrel Yepdo has 3 steals, 0 fouls and several breakaway buckets including one thunderous jam. Captivating player to watch on offense but gets it done on defense.
Brady Cummins 22’ of Brooks has done an excellent to job of not only knocking down several triples but relocating to open space and keeping the ball moving around the perimeter. Very versatile and unselfish player.
Clutch and collected down the stretch,
@YepdoDarrel
showed both the ability to knock down key shots and make something out of nothing driving to the hoop. Willing to dive on the floor, Yepdo showed why he is one of the top guards of the weekend.
@RivalsNation
Cashman Mcclure has made several impressive decisions in the open floor. Very quick trigger release on his shot, talks on both ends and makes very convincing back cuts.
Andre Mills Jr. of Vermont has won all the 50-50 battles today. Just strung together a nice sequence of plays. Hard fought rebound followed by a coast-to-coast corner three assist. Lots of versatility on both sides of the floor.
🚨 COMMITMENT ALERT 🚨
G/W Max Edwards,
@maxgotgame2
who has been grinding for
@OSLBasketball
this season (one of the few NY teams to have a season) will be attending
#D1
Kansas State for his collegiate career.
Early 8am action over, lots of energy so early and lots of talking on defense. Some nice performances from:
Kenny Noland 22’
Johnnie Walter 22’
DeAndre Williams 22’
Davyn de Jongh 23’
Sean Conroy 22’
A few standouts from the 2022 Senior Showcase
Tavares Tuck, ND Prep
Logan Carey, St. Paul’s
Esco Greene, Kingswood-Oxford
Rob Iweka, NY Military Academy
Robert Sanders, Naugatuck HS
Jason Robinson, Crosby HS
@joshmorissette
not only knocked down the game winner but also converted on a number of down the stretch three pointers to seal it for
@MiddlesexMagic
he has a fluid and plays both ends of the floor with intent.
Kyle Jones 22’ of Promfret has shown great effort and physicality on his attacks to the basket. Also has made some great decisions as an open floor pace pusher. Brings the ball up and guards bigs on the other end.
Avon’s, Jason Schofield 24’ was a steady force all game long. Recorded two early blocks on on three pointers. Came up with clutch buckets down the stretch, consistent post game with a nice touch around the basket.
First half done with South Kent vs. Springfield Commonwealth Important to note the talking and effort level from Matthew McCool. It has been unmatched today. Hard nosed player, loudest in the gym by far. Really good at communicating switches.
@SouthKentHoops
Intense and hard fought battle between NMH and Brewster some high level performances from:
Taylor Bowen
Matzos Buzelis
DeSonte Bowen
Danny Wolf
Avery Brown
Kyle Squires
Movement shooter Liam McBride put on a shooting display during the second half. Cashed in on 5 consecutive triples from all over the floor. Fluid stroke and did a great job of relocating to an open spot.
@MiddlesexMagic
Been impressed with Adam Hinton’s 22’ explosion and creativity around the basket. Elevates with ease and also has shown the ability to space the floor from beyond the arc.
Patrick White was another standout for the
@BayStateJags
, high motor big guard with the potential to play some wing. Made winning plays on the glass throughout the day.
Dion Brown of Vermont continues to play with a high motor throughout the late stretches of this game. Has made several high level reads to open shooters. Vermont up 57-54
The backcourt combination of Nicholas Petronio 24’ and Gavin Carter 23’ have put together an impressive first half passing performance. Always look ahead in transition but also both showed the willingness to reset the offense.
Andre Johnson Jr. for South Kent has been another pace controller willing to attack open spaces and capitalize off mismatches in transition. Nice flow to his game.
Another high impact player for
@RivalsNation
,
@Jclayton_13
didn’t shy away from guarding up a position. All effort all the time, Jordan made a number of clutch defensive stops down the stretch.
Robby Baguidy from
@NEStormBball
was a standout today. Explosive force driving to the basket. Made a number of high effort plays on the defensive side of the floor. Really impressed with his patience with the ball in hands and willingness to reset the offense.
Early morning hoops underway, really like the energy and willingness to push the pace from the Hotchkiss guard tandem of Davyn de Jongh and Kenny Noland. Both also using dead ball moments to communicate and talk with their teammates. Nice to see this type of stuff.
Great synergy between Bradford Christian’s, Sam Kodi 22’ and AJ Lesburt 22’. The two operate together on a string and are fantastic when moving into open space on the perimeter. Created several open looks. Great spatial understanding!
Kyle Hicks of New Hampton just strung together a series of impressive self created takes to the basket, topped it off with an impressive pick and roll dime to Melvin Kolenovic. High level space reader.
Guard, Kameran Rodriguez, 23’ of Berkshire has done a great job of setting up the offense and being patient in the pick and roll. Has thrown some bullet passes to open shooters in the corners. Nice to see this kind of unselfishness at the helm.
Great guard battle going on right now on court 1. Rowan Brumbaugh continues to fight defensively at the point of attack. Wins possessions on effort and toughness, aggressive but not to a fault.
Big offer here! Dom Campbell is everything you want in a college player. He has size and can play in the paint, but has the skills, agility, and IQ to play on ball in the perimeter!
Great move by
#D1
Siena, and no doubt will Campbell be a gem in the NCAA
Yet another standout for the
@RivalsNation
,
@ajlesburt
scored at all three levels, showcased a springy bounce and made high level defensive reads. Extremely versatile player capable of playing the wing or guard spot. One of the top wings of the weekend thus far
@zg_newengland
Really impressed with Amari Howell’s 22’ vision and ability attack the defense going downhill. Constantly collapsing the defense, nice patience in the pick and roll setting.
Productive and efficient outing for
@thedomcampbell
. At 6’8” Campbell is more than just a back-to-the-basket center. Knocking down two above the break triples in the first half, Campbell has all the makings of a modern big.
Jeremiah Jenkins 24’ Brewster has made several high-level decisions going down hill at full speed. Shows defenses different looks, nice variation to his game out of the pick and roll.
A very underrated commitment. Merritt is a great point guard who can let the ball fly and really push the pace and put pressure on the defense. Well deserved, and he should be an impact player down in Rochester.
I’ve enjoyed watching Jordan McClain 23’ of Tabor thus far, plays with fluidity, steadiness and awareness. Converted on looks from beyond the arc but does a great job of getting his teammates involved within the flow of the offense.
With movement shooting as a sought after skill, Jack Stowell was catching and firing on all cylinders. Fluid shooting stroke, vocal teammate, high energy player with a quick release.
@MiddlesexMagic
6’8”, Jack Margoupis has the handle of a guard and shoots the ball like a high gravity wing. He gets great separation on his pick and pops and plays with a high motor.
Even if it’s just as simple as an up fake, jab step or box out. Danny Wolf continues to make those next level-ready, highly translatable type movements. Does a great job of reading and reacting.

Really liked what I saw today from
@Ray_Johnson4
. Got down hill and created for others off a live dribble. Shifty handle and the ability to score in the midrange. Great effort as point of attack defender.
Ryder Frost from Beverly was another constant communicator for the
@MiddlesexMagic
as he helped them secure a victory. Unselfish ball mover who made some really well timed off ball cuts resulting in made layups and And1’s.
Talking on defense doesn’t get picked up by the box score,
@bucketmarc_
is the loudest on the floor, does a great job of communicating switches when guarding the roller in the P&R setting. A very team oriented high energy player
@MiddlesexMagic
Deandre Smart (Loomis) (22) has shown a lot of versatility on both ends of the floor. Willing passer and cutter but also a physical force when presented with a mismatch.
Competitive St. Thomas More vs. New Hampton game (39-27 at the half). Taking on the point guard responsibilities, Desmond Claude has been a standout and continues to generate high quality looks for himself and others.
@STMCT_BBALL
DeSonte Bowen’s patience with the ball in hands and pace control are special things to watch. Lots of talent on the floor with this Brewster - NMH game.
Tony Tabor recorded at least 10 steals between two games. Great anticipatory skills and isn’t afraid to sky for an offensive board. Dynamic slasher and playmaker.
