Because you are so valuable, some of your trials may be severe. You need never be discouraged or afraid. The way through difficulties has always been prepared for you, and you will find it if you exercise faith.
The Savior gave us the scriptures, paid for by prophets at a price we cannot measure, so that we could know Him. Lose yourself in them. Decide now to read more, and more effectively than you have ever done before.
Jesus Christ was resurrected, as we will be. He suffered so that He could succor us in all of our trials. He paid the ransom for all of our sins and those of all of Heavenly Father’s children so that we could be delivered from death and sin.
I testify that the Savior and His Atonement make all things possible. This is the Lord’s true Church. President Nelson is called of God as His prophet.
I am humbled and grateful for each of you who have offered prayers, shared memories, and provided service to me and my family in the days since our beloved Kathleen passed onto the other side of the veil.
How grateful I am for your love and prayers. Truly, you are among those…
Jesus made no distinction between the poor and rich, the young or old, the healthy or infirm. He did not shun those of different faiths or those of different cultural backgrounds. He loved everyone. And He has commanded us to “love one another,” as He has loved us (John 15:12).
I testify that Jesus is the Christ, that He lives, and that, because of Him and His Atonement, temple blessings will take us and our loved ones home again.
I testify that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God and the Savior of the world. He is the perfect gift from our loving Father. At this and every season, our Savior invites us to join with Him and others to offer the priceless gift of joy. I pray that we will.
Trials can produce resentment or discouragement. The humility you and I need for the Lord to lead us by the hand comes from faith. It comes from faith that God really lives, that He loves us, and that what He wants—hard as it may be—will always be best for us.
The Lord goes before us. He knows the future perfectly. He invites you to the work. He joins you in it. He has in place a plan for your service. He loves you. And even as you sacrifice, you will feel joy as you help others rise to be ready for His coming.
At this time, many are praying to Heavenly Father for relief, for help in carrying their burdens of grief, loneliness, and fear. Heavenly Father hears those prayers and understands your needs. He and His Beloved Son, the resurrected Jesus Christ, have promised help.
Heavenly Father has perfect foresight, knows each of us, and knows our future. He knows what difficulties we will pass through. He sent His Son to suffer so that He would know how to succor us in all our trials.
As we sustained President Russell M. Nelson this morning, and as I have had the blessing of working with him each day, I have felt a confirmation of the Spirit that President Nelson is called of God to lead the Lord’s true Church.
Do not focus on the commotion around you; it often looks worse than it actually is. You may not know what the future holds or where your path will lead, but I assure you that the Lord loves you and you are not alone.
I bear testimony that the Father and the Son are sending the Holy Ghost to all who ask for that blessing and seek to be worthy of it.
Neither the Father nor the Son nor the Holy Ghost force Themselves into our lives. We are free to choose.
As we pray in faith, we will be a vital part in the Lord’s work as He prepares the world for His Second Coming. I pray that we all may find joy in doing the work He invites each of us to perform.

Today, I would like to express my gratitude for the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I testify that God the Father gave His Son, and Jesus Christ gave us the Atonement, the greatest of all gifts and all giving.

As your testimony grows, you will come to feel light growing in your life. But it will not come without effort. Feasting on the word of God, heartfelt prayer, and obedience to the Lord’s commandments must be applied evenly and continually for your testimony to grow and prosper.
I bear you my witness that the Savior knows and loves you. He knows your name as you know His. He knows your troubles.
By His Atonement, He has overcome the world. By your being willing to take His name upon you, you will lift the burdens of countless others.
One of the most beautiful symbols of the birth of Jesus Christ into this world is light. The appearance of the long-promised Messiah brought light to a darkened world.
Many of you are praying for the strength to endure trials that test you to what may feel to you like your…
As you examine your life during the ordinance of the sacrament, I hope your thoughts center not only on things you have done wrong but also on things you have done right—moments when you have felt that Heavenly Father and the Savior were pleased with you.
God the Father lives and loves you. He knows your name. Jesus is the Christ. He atoned for your sins and for all the sins of your family on conditions of faith in Him and a repentant and broken heart. He has always loved you, and He offers you His loving help in your life.
The Lord is leading the Restoration of His gospel and His Church. He goes before us. He knows the future perfectly. He invites you to the work. He joins you in it.
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know and love you. They want you to return to Them and become like Them. Your success is Their success.

Building faith in Jesus Christ is the beginning of reversing any spiritual decline in your family and in your home. That faith is more likely to bring repentance than your preaching against each symptom of spiritual decline.

Jesus Christ, our Savior, has suffered and paid for our sins and those of all the people we will ever meet. He has perfect understanding of the feelings, the suffering, the trials, and the needs of every individual.
God the Father lives. He loves us. He hears our prayers, and He answers with what is best for us.
As we come to know Him through His words and in His service, we will love Him more. I know that is true.
Jesus Christ bore in Gethsemane and on the cross the weight of all our sins. He experienced all the sorrows, the pains, and the effects of our sins so that He could comfort and strengthen us through every test in life.
I thank our Heavenly Father for the gift of His Beloved Son, who came voluntarily to earth to be our Redeemer.
I am grateful to know that He atoned for our sins and rose in the Resurrection.
I have felt the love of the Father and of His Beloved Son for all the children of God in the world and for His children in the spirit world. I have felt the comfort and the direction of the Holy Ghost. I pray that you may have the joy of having the Spirit with you as a companion.
I add my testimony to the witness shared by President Russell M. Nelson. I am a witness of the Resurrection of the Lord as surely as if I had been there in the evening with the two disciples in the house on Emmaus road.
The Lord stands at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As modern-day Apostles of Jesus Christ, the message we share today is the same that Apostles shared long ago—that God lives and Jesus is the Christ.
Sisters, you were given the blessing of being daughters of God with special gifts. You brought with you into mortal life a spiritual capacity to nurture others and to lift them higher.

I bear solemn testimony that we are children of a loving Heavenly Father. He chose His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior and Redeemer. The only way to return to live with Them and with our family is through the ordinances of the holy temple.

On the outside of our temples, we place the words “Holiness to the Lord.” I know for myself that those words are true. The temple is a holy place where revelation comes to us easily if our hearts are open to it and we are worthy of it.
Jesus Christ knows and loves you. He knows your name as you know His. He knows your troubles. He has experienced them. By His Atonement, He has overcome the world.
I testify that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. I promise that as you ask Heavenly Father in faith and in the name of Jesus Christ and seek Him in your scripture study this season, the Spirit will bring feelings of peace to you this Christmas and always.
Many reading this today feel a pressing need for that blessing of personal revelation from our loving Heavenly Father.
I assure you He hears your prayers. He loves you. He knows your name. He pours out revelation upon all of us through the Holy Ghost as we seek His guidance.
I testify that God the Father lives and loves us. He wants us to come home to Him in families.
Our loving Savior invites us to follow Him on our journey there. They have prepared the way.
As we attend the temple, we can be reminded of the eternal nature of our spirits, our relationship with the Father and His divine Son, and our ultimate desire to return to our heavenly home.
Frequent participation in the ordinances of the temple can create a pattern of…
I have come to better understand what it will take for us to have the constant influence of the Holy Ghost in the days in which we live. And I have felt impressed to speak of my personal experience of inviting the Holy Ghost, as nearly I as could, to be my constant companion. My…
I feel the spirit of Christmas as I read the Savior’s words. I feel the light, the optimism, and the witness that come from the influence of the Holy Ghost whenever I remember, ponder about, and strive to emulate the Savior of the World.
The Savior lives, and He leads The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have felt His love in my life and His love and concern for Heavenly Father’s children. The invitation to come to Him is an offer of peace.

Since my needs have changed over my lifetime, God has communicated to me different things at different times. But I learned that I must go to the scriptures in order to find that counsel.
The Lord loved us enough to pay the price of our sins so that we can—through our faith in Him and our repentance—have the gift of the peace that “passeth all understanding,” in this life and with Him eternally.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the…
You may feel small compared to the great sweep of what the Lord will do. If you do, I invite you to ask prayerfully how the Lord sees you. He knows you personally.

Revelation comes to us in proportion to the degree to which we have sought to take the doctrine of Christ into our hearts and implement it in our lives.
As we grow in the pure love of Christ, our hearts soften. That love will humble us and lead us to repent. Our confidence in the Lord and in each other will grow. And then we will move toward becoming one, as the Lord promises we can.

The message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that we must expect to become better as long as we live.
How will that transformation happen? Through faithfully following the Savior’s example. Hour by hour, day by day, we must be filled with the love of God and love for others.
The covenant daughters and sons of God all share one important and joyful call. It is to serve others for Him.
Your call began when you were placed into mortality, in a place and time chosen for you by a God who knows you perfectly and loves you as His child.

The Father’s plan of happiness has at its center our becoming ever more like His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. In all things, the Savior’s example is our best guide.
To have the spirit of Christmas, we must try to love as He loved. His words to you and to me are “Love one another, as I have loved you.”

Sometimes we need to look back on our lives to remember how we have been helped on our journey. As we look back, we can feel the Savior’s influence again.
When the scriptures say, “Remember, remember” (Helaman 5:12), I think they’re telling us, “Don’t just remember what you…
Because of our Savior’s Atonement, we are never alone when trials surface. When times get tough, we can trust Him enough to ask for help, knowing that He has walked the same path we walk now. This trust will give us the confidence that somehow, all will be well.
The more we have the doctrine of Christ in our lives and hearts, the more we feel greater love and sympathy for those who have never had the blessing of faith in Jesus Christ or are struggling to maintain it.
The gift of the Son of God is a priceless gift. He is the gift that lights our way and lifts us. He is the gift that sustains us through the difficult days of our mortal journey. He is the gift that offers divine love, lasting hope, and true joy.
Increasing in holiness is the only path to lasting happiness. Only by faith in Jesus Christ, continuing repentance, and keeping covenants are we able to claim the lasting happiness we yearn to experience and retain.

Yesterday, the depth of God’s love for each of us was again impressed upon my mind during the rededication of the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple. Heavenly Father loves you as His child. The Savior watches over you in love. The Father gave you Jesus Christ as your Savior.
For sisters in every stage of life’s journey, in every family situation, and across every culture, the Savior is your perfect example of how you will play a major part in His move to place greater emphasis on gospel learning in the home.
