The Euphemia moment from Code Geass seems to be a controversial scene amongst anime fans. Never understood why. The show clearly foreshadowed not being able to turn off Geass with Mao. It was foreshadowed, and Lelouch's dialogue was perfectly in character. Great scene.

I know a lot of Berserk's appeal comes from the badassery of Guts and him slaughtering demons. But my favorite moments of Guts are always the moments where he acts like a gentle giant. It shows that he isn't just a power fantasy character who's there for badass moments.

Don't want to mince words. Guts is an important character. To anyone who's been through any of the same or similar traumas as him. The fact that he exists and that someone created him gives me more hope for humanity than ever. Berserk is the most compassionate story I've read.
