To sprint you must “whip from the hip” or “Attack down from above” like @JohnPryorRugby says. When you “attack” you increase negative foot speed or “grab velocity” @spikesonly Grab velocity reduces ground time , which is critical to running faster. @KenClarkSpeed @Dr_Weyand

Work on PROJECTION but still SWITCH so as to remain REACTIVE and climb organically! ⁣ 📝 Simple heuristic. Heavy sled for initial acceleration. Medium - light sled for everything else! If you can continue to accelerate past 5m organically with your sled... it ain’t HEAVY!

Front side mechanics are needed to prepare for sharp impulses. Back side mechanics are needed to orientate forces and prepare for next step. Enough contact distance to orientate large forces appropriately in little time. That’s it. @KenClarkSpeed
