PLO tip of the week: When 4betting non AAxx hands, I use the following criteria: 1) Has one ace (to block AA) 2) Is double suited 3) Has connectivity(AJ89, AQT8) 4) Doesn't have a King (increase likelihood of opponent having KK). Don't be predictable, build a solid 4B range :)

WSOP really is a practice in patience as well as building healthy systems. Your job is to show up every day, play well (which means lots of patience), get rekt at a super high frequency, rest, recover, and try again the next day. It’s a grind, and a very fun one at that :)

Have a hot take for you all tonight: There is a ton of money to be made in live PLO. If you can iron out your fundamentals and be able to apply game theory in a fluid environment, you are going to absolutely print. Takes some time and energy, but very well worth it IMO.

Here’s a list of the majority of low stakes to mid stakes (<$5000 usd) PLO tournaments around Vegas for WSOP (the PLO championship is in there for inspiration). WSOP is literally the best time of the year to get volume in for PLO tournies. Get out there and battle :)

PLO Tip: When betting into multiple players on the flop, you are generally supposed to size DOWN. We use big bets when we have a polarity advantage. It’s hard to be winning in polarity against multiple ranges when everyone still has a bunch of hands.

PLO tip of the week: Generally speaking, blockers become more important as ranges become more narrow. This is why on the flop we tend to Cbet based off of hand strength, but on the river we want to bluff the hands that have the best removal (instead of our weakest combos).

#PLOTOTW In live PLO, one of the biggest mistakes players make is using a large sizing on the flop into multiple players to “protect their hand” You rarely have > 50% equity multi handed in PLO. Make decisions based on texture and position vs out of fear that you *might* lose.
