I want to thank everyone for their encouraging words, prayers, support and checking up on me during these past few days. I’ve been truly overwhelmed with all the love and you all have made it a little easier for me to go through this.
I went to Rombo the other day to meet my new family and ask my best friend to marry me. She said YES! Thank you to my friends, family and extended family who made this day possible. I appreciate and love you all. The road to

Not disagreeing with this and I hate the fact that he used Tupac’s voice, but why do people try so hard to disregard the fact that Drake has a black dad from Memphis? Also, Kendrick dissed him first. Would Drake be doing all this if Kendrick didn’t mention him in that song?
I don’t know who needs to hear this but you can’t use your personal experience to make a generalization. Neither can you try to debunk a general trend by using your personal experience as an argument. Provide data or tell your story and go.
Happy 1st B-Day to our little Ambassador, the love of our lives, Theo Mahiga. We thank God for your life & the responsibility he has given us. I can’t wait to watch you grow & continue teaching me about myself and life. I’m immensely proud to be your Baba.

His shoes are big to fill but I promise I’ll do my best to carry his name & legacy with dignity & honor. I thank you all for helping me celebrate his life & everything he has done for our country. Baba, you have run your race & fought your fight. Rest well. I love you.
We need to remove the notion that just because someone is intelligent and influential that everything they fight for/against is important or helpful.
As you look up to such people for answers, question their motives.
I used to think all that young people needed to have successful businesses is capital and skills. I’m now realizing that the most critical thing is discipline. Without it the capital will be lost. Without it skills will be misused. Discipline breeds sacrifice and commitment.
Advice: When asking someone for help, tell them what you’ve been able to do without their help. It’ll make them feel like they’re supporting a process that has started, not a problem that has been presented to them. It’ll make you look like you’re coming from a place of strength.
My professional journey has taught me that those who know a lot usually don’t talk a lot. Because they understand the layers and consequences of the information that they have.
It’s usually the ones with limited information that have the most to say.
I’m touched by everyone’s testimony of their encounters with my Dad in their various walks in life. He has touched many not only in Tanzania but all over the whole and I am left in awe of it all. It really feels like we were all his children and students.
Everyone should have a list of people they will allow to stress them. Hopefully that list is short. So you can check off the list like a bouncer when people are trying to enter your Club Stress.
