I know I’m in the minority here, but when NT authors affirm the meaning of OT passages/events, they are always 100% right. The apostles learned how to read the OT at home and in the synagogue, of course. But, Jesus himself taught them how to interpret the OT the right way.

Matt Harmon's Galatians commentary is so good, and this table of quotations, allusions, and parallels is excellent. I wish all commentaries would chart the use of the OT in the NT. 👏
