Today 01 Muharram 1443 Hijri (10-11 August 2021) marks the 443rd anniversary of the foundation of the city of Hyderabad by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. Hyderabad was founded on 01-01-1000 Hijri (1591 CE) and the Charminar was the first building to be built in the new city.
