@CalltoActivism
I'm not sure where I saw this, but someone said that "Nixon was a President who became a criminal and Trump was a criminal who became a President."
@bad_pooky
"U.S. Commission on Civil Rights reported that Georgia is the only state formerly under federal oversight to adopt all five of the most common voter suppression tactics: voter ID laws, proof of citizenship requirements, purges, cuts in early voting, and polling place closures."
@wendy_resists
What work..."Be Best" focusing on well-being for youth and advocating against cyberbullying? We see how effective that was in her own house.
@Mar_a_Hell_No
@cvyuklb
And I'm tired of people still referring to trump as "President." We have one President right now, and, thank God, it's NOT trump!!!
@Endgame2021
Definitely a deal breaker. The sign in the front yard tells me that this is an ardent supporter, and as a POC, this is no place that I want to live.
@brigalet16
@alan_gable
@AfricanArchives
Cruelty has always been the norm. Native Americans were enslaved and probably experienced some of the same harsh treatment as african slaves; and I'm sure that there are still families at the southern border who haven't reconnected with their children.
@AmyAThatcher
This report is coming from the same Ron Johnson who thought that Moscow would be a good place to spend July 4, 2018.Anyway, Biden can't be any more unfit that the Russian agent currently in the White House, and even if he is, he still gets my vote.
@RepSwalwell
@Jim_Jordan
@JudiciaryGOP
That's the kind of response that you'd expect from Jim Jordan since he was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom by TFG less than a week after an insurrection.
@realTuckFrumper
Not surprised that he's from Kentucky, but how does Hunter Biden's laptop fix inflation, gas prices, crime, and everything else that they campaigned on!?!
@StevenBeschloss
And definitely this: "The OLC memorandum concluded that all federal civil officers except the President are subject to indictment and criminal prosecution while still in office; the President is uniquely immune from such process."
@BBB1022
Trump signed an agreement in 1993 with the local government of Palm Beach that says that Trump cannot live at the club for more than three nonconsecutive weeks in a year.
@Numbers28
Thank you for saying what I've been thinking. It didn't have to be this bad, especially since the Obama team developed a pandemic playbook that was left for the incoming administration.
@B52Malmet
Malcolm Nance has a good idea: Set a National Security exclusion zone. Shut down the city south of K street NW to H st NW-NE to 2nd Ave NE south to the waterfront. Close memorial bridge, RT66/E St bridge & the 695 Above/below ground for 8 hours before and after.
@MsBanks4America
In Tulsa, OK, site of the the Tulsa race massacre of 1921, when mobs of white residents attacked black residents and businesses of the Greenwood District. It has been called "the single worst incident of racial violence in American history."
@DetroitSteel_
Those attending the rally are there by choice. I'm more concerned about peaceful protesters and whatever is going on with Voice of America and the Southern District of New York.
@AdamParkhomenko
Take lots of protective equipment and stay safe. The number of COVID-19 cases is still on the rise. Tonight, Worldometer is reporting1,901,783 cases in the United States.
@Strandjunker
I'm all for a general strike, and I know that there's safety in numbers, but we have to be sure that the streets are safe. We can't trust that there will not be opposition from his sycophants, supporters and self-appointed militia groups.
@ReportsDaNews
On July 4, 2018 he was in Moscow with Sens. Richard C. Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Hoeven (N.D.), John Neely Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), John Thune (S.D.) and Rep. Kay Granger (Tex.)
@Amy_Siskind
I adore Carville, and I hope that he's right, but I'm being cautiously optimistic until I wake up on Wednesday. My anxiety level and blood pressure are already elevated, and I'm going to try really hard not to be on Twitter at all tomorrow.
@Goss30Goss
@GovWhitmer
This is ridiculous, and at the very least, this president should have been censured long ago. He believes that he can say and do whatever he pleases. His rhetoric has encouraged the rise in domestic terrorism, and there will be blood on his hands and those of his enablers.
@GregStohr
I suppose that it's good news, but I don't trust the GOP and their dirty tricks. In California, the Republican Party said it would not comply with the state's cease-and-desist order over unofficial ballot drop boxes.
@BadrobotLinda
@AymannJames
If they're dyed in the wool, die hard Republicans, nothing will change their minds..
"The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them."
@blackhat_1
We'll never be rid of him. He's been center stage ever since he came down the escalator, MAGA keeps propping him up, and he just won't go away.
@LisaHagan7
Not without Ossoff and Warnock in the senate. If the republicans have the majority, McConnell, who calls himself "The Grim Reaper," will probably continue to block Democratic efforts.
@thehill
More than two months after the House passed the HEROES Actโand despite the last supplemental $600 unemployment checks going out July 25โSenate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell continues to sit idly by as working families are forced to fend for ourselves.
@MeidasTouch
"This was a very significant effort, and I think it's the case that now we can say pretty clearly that it was the Russians that engaged in this activity," Pompeo said...
@thiruverseII
I don't remember any President being as blatantly disrespected as President Biden has been. There was a time when, in spite of policy differences, decorum was still the order of the day. I guess that all changed once the GOP became the party of trump.
@AblueUs
The rumor is that Georgia's a swing state now, but you can't prove it by me. Trump signs everywhere and one senator who's endorsed by a QAnon promoter and another who mocks Kamala Harris' name at a trump rally. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
@SamONeillSA
I just wish that there was some way that these "unearned" Medals of Freedom could be challenged or recalled...at the very least, reflected in the history books.
Keep this in mind while watching tonight!
โWhy would I want a guy like that to be my VP?โ Trump said when his then-campaign manager Paul Manafort pushed to have Pence, then governor of Indiana, as his running mate..."
