Sometimes the toughest situations or circumstances requires the most simple actions to overcome it…Think, speak, and live positively while you grind through it.

Coaching isn’t about how many drills you know or how loud you can yell at guys. It has and always will come down to teaching and motivating. If you have coaches that can do those two things, you have a chance to experience success.
I’m proud of my guys and the progress they made this spring. Excited about our continued journey together and the growth that comes with it

Hard work doesn’t always amount to success. Hard work leads you to opportunity, and what you do with your opportunities leads to success. Make sure you are ready when your opportunity comes so that your hard work doesn’t go to waste.
You see a lot of videos of players with self promotion and things to try to be seen. The fastest and easiest way to stand out is to just simply play well consistently. If you play well you don’t have to say or do anything because others will do the promoting for you.
Somebody in front of me at the drive through just paid for my food so it was only right for me to do the same. God blesses us so that we can bless others.
It don’t matter what it looks like to anybody else. Your grind and actions need to match your goals and dreams. They always doubt you first but eventually they will ask you how you did it 🤷🏾♂️
As crazy as this whole corona virus situation has been, I’m thankful for the opportunity I’ve been granted to spend quality time with my family. Value the blessings within a bad situation. 🙌🏾
As I am on the road recruiting I see that some parents need to stop investing so much into personal on the field help, and invest in some personal tutors for the student athletes... it will help get them get more scholarship opportunities.
Don’t ask people how they made it. Instead, Ask them what they had to sacrifice mentally, physically, and spiritually to endure what they had to in order to survive. Everybody isn’t willing to pay the price tag of what it takes to get there.
Happy Father’s Day! Football coaches helped mold me into the man I am today. Continue to be coachable young men, soak up all the knowledge that you can, and grow into great leaders that change the world. 🙏🏾
It won't be easy. Most of it will have to be done alone. There will be times when you will question why you are even striving and working for it. But when you get there it will be everything you dreamed it would be and then some. That's the process of success...
Are you a hard worker or just somebody that works hard? A hard worker don’t care about the day or the circumstances, they just show up and attack the tasks at hand. A person that works hard chooses which tasks to attack. Be a hard worker!
Your dream and your vision has to start and end with you and the work you put in. If you get some help getting there along the journey that’s great, but don’t expect others to care about YOUR dream like you do.
RIP to Coach Bill Young. He was a good coach but an even better human being. I learned so much from him in my years around him. A lesson I still use as a coach and a man is never be too prideful to admit that you were wrong. You will be missed Coach.
For all the student-athletes attending camps this summer, take things you learn and apply it to your game within what your high school coaches asks of you. We are there to help you grow but we don’t replace what your high school coaches are teaching you.
God has blessed me greatly and allowing me to experience another birthday is just another addition. Im just getting warmed up to the success that lays ahead.
Thank God that he didn’t pull you out when you wanted him to. Instead of rescuing you from it, he GREW you through it. If God had pulled you out when you wanted then you wouldn’t know him like you know him now. 🙌🏾
Life ain’t as tough as we make it sometimes. Count your blessings, make the most of your opportunities, and be a blessing to others and life instantly is a whole lot better.
If it’s too easy then I’m here to tell you that you didn’t aim high enough. The things that you really want will require some mental/physical strain and struggle. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it when you get there!
To all the coaches that are father figures to many fatherless young men, continue to help develop Kings. This game is sooo much more than wins and losses. Keep on keeping on ✊🏾💯
