Told the team tonight so it’s official now. This was my last season as the head boys track coach at Macomb. I’ll be relocating to Springfield this fall and will be an assistant football and track coach at Rochester High School. Incredibly grateful for the last 9 years at Macomb.

Not quite the finish we were hoping for but Dylan took🥉with a throw of 148-5. Had two go 160+, one in warmups and one in comp about a foot past the sector line. All in all a great day to cap off an amazing JH career!

Our underclassmen have produced so far this season: 2 6ft high jumpers and another who’s cleared 5’10, a 21-4 long jumper, a 41-9.5 triple jumper, a 12-6 pole vaulter, and now a pair of freshman shot putters who have gone 43-11 and 44-2 and a soph who’s gone 42-11.75🤯🚀

Group size is such an easy way to manipulate rest between sets. Want them to rest longer between sets? Throw another person on the rack. Or vice versa for shorter rest.
