Clearly disappointed, Miura/Kihara said they were "lacking training" coming into #ACI23 . There are no injury issues, and they don't want to use their busy show schedule as an excuse. They decided *before* this competition that they will get a new SP after this event.

So torn about Worlds. I don't want anyone to get sick. It also makes me incredibly sad to think of Worlds not happening. This is not like canceling a work conference. It's a week of magic, with programs & experiences that can never be replaced if they don't occur this spring. 😢

Jason Brown said he considered many times cutting his season short after his 1st event, realizing that he might have "overextended myself" with shows etc. He said the support he got from U.S. Figure Skating, his coaches, and his family helped him keep going. #WorldsMTL24

@fsonline So excited to see him again. It's really a huge moment in the history of the sport. How far back do we have to go to see the return of another 2-time Olympic gold medalist to competition? Rodnina in fall of 1976?? That was over 40 years ago.
