We had a sellout crowd for @NHRA @GatewayMSP on Saturday. We had our biggest Sunday walk-up crowd ever. Our overall live attendance for the weekend exceeded the ‘other’ racing series. - Sad that the motorsports industry media ignores a POSITIVE story. The sky is not falling.

Here’s something to put into perspective. There’s a dirt track race taking place right now where $1,950,000 worth of MOTORS are competing for $1,200 to win. Not $1,950,000 in cars ...$1,950,000 in motors. (That’s an average of $30,000 per - some are $45k and some $15k).

I found out on 9/12 that I had $440 in flight credit expiring on 9/20 and I could only be gone for 24 hours due to work. I booked a round trip to Des Moines to use up $338 and did a 23 hr/50 min. adventure to @knoxvilleraces for @lucasdirt - It was awesome! I needed that trip.

For years we’ve heard folks saying that asphalt short track racing was slipping away. Two photos taken yesterday prove otherwise. One in Winchester, Indiana and the other in Lacrosse, WI show that the big events are thriving. Great to see positive pics like these.
