It’s been about a month since I lost my job, still looking for work! If anyone is looking for someone with roughly 10 years of experience writing about video games and movies full time, my DMs are open!
Also interested in doing PR if there are any opps in that field! 🫡
BREAKING:
Leonardo DiCaprio recently told press that he wasn’t in Titanic.
“I don’t know what that is,” said DiCaprio when asked about the film’s upcoming 25th anniversary. “I don’t think I was in that movie.”
There’s a scene in Oppenheimer where a car drives away late at night and then Einstein walks out of the shadows like he’s Batman
I can’t stop thinking about it.
Given Batman is believed to be “dead” in the Arkham universe, I have a strong feeling Rocksteady was going to keep Batman a secret until the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but Kevin Conroy’s death made them want to reveal it and pay tribute to him.
we haven’t had anything close to this level of action and scale in the Tom Holland movies and it’s so deeply disappointing
these movies had the juice, it’s crazy how elevated the action felt. You believe only Spider-Man could pull this off.
i still think a lot about how Marvel told Insomniac they couldn’t kill Aunt May and made them change the ending, but ended up being so impressed by how the game was turning out later, they allowed them to use the original ending.
Spider-Man 3 for all its flaws (I love it to death) has infinitely more style than 99.99% of the CBMs that came after it.
The sound design on that little gauntlet Harry wears is so fucking incredible. We just don’t get little flairs like that in these movies anymore.
Apparently to prepare for Scream 5, Jack Quaid made an in-character Reddit account for his character in the movie and this is the first post.
I fucking love this LMFAO
kinda crazy to me that Raimi ended one of the biggest movies of all-time (in 2007) with two characters just… quietly embracing. No big speech, no fancy one-liner, just a look and a hug.
what a picture.
imagine this scene again in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but with the context of Tobey Maguire suiting back up to help out a younger Spider-Man against a multidimensional Sinister Six.
god I’m so ready, man.
This is from less than a week ago on the set of Fast X.
Vin Diesel looks like he’s holding Justin Lin hostage and he’s already thinking to himself “I have to get out of here.”
So, anyways, this is why letting anyone be verified without… ya know, verifying their identity will become a problem.
A lot of people believed I was actually Tobey Maguire and within an hour, I gained over 1,000 followers + tens thousands of likes/RTs.
Speaking out for the first time about its troubled production, Joss Whedon criticizes the
#JusticeLeague
cast and their behavior during reshoots for the DCEU film.
Tom Cruise didn’t fuck his ankle, learn how to fly a helicopter, jump out of a plane and maintain an exactly 3 foot distance from the camera man while freefalling at 200 MPH, and do a motorcycle stunt when it wasn’t safe because they were running out of time for this slander.
Do not post the GTA 6 leaks on your own accounts.
Do not host that stuff or you are risking a big ban. Friendly reminder that Rockstar sued a website for about $1.3 million for leaking RDR 2 info/screenshots after obtaining it in an unsavory way.
there’s a new Zack Snyder movie out next week and I have seen absolutely no one talking about this.
This isn’t a slam on him, this is a slam on Netflix’s inability to drum up any kind of attention or excitement for a stupidly expensive blockbuster from a major director.
and I think that was a very smart move. There’s def a reason they kept him out of marketing but showed the other Justice League members thus far, though!
Literal tears watching Spider-Man with a sold out theater. Just an incredible and memorable experience watching one of my all-time favorite movies with a crowd, big and loud. Looked great, sounded amazing. Couldn’t have been better.
Such a treat, I’ll never forget it.
Dune Part 2 is the brilliant sum of a director’s uncompromised, unapologetic vision of a grand, galactic soap opera.
It’s like someone put cameras down on a real war happening on a different planet. The scale of this film is profound and epic, unbelievable.
What an achievement
to answer questions:
Yes, they confirmed when the game was revealed that it’s a continuation of the Arkhamverse
Batman did not actually die, he seemingly fakes his death after his identity is revealed at the end of Knight, hence the “secret” ending with the fear toxin.
This is one of the most electrifying scenes I’ve ever seen.
Bruce is in a pit, mentally and literally, the entire movie due to the loss he feels, his lack of purpose, and when he climbs out, he’s totally revitalized and refueled, almost reborn.
It’s fucking amazing.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES receives a lot of condemnation from fans, but I’d argue this is one of the stronger third acts in any trilogy. If BEGINS was an origin story, DARK KNIGHT was a crime drama, then RISES is a disaster film. It has some of Nolan’s best set pieces. It rules.
This is one of the most interesting pieces of footage from the GTA 6 leaks.
Gas station robberies were pretty simplistic in GTA 5, but now it looks like you’ll be able to make note of cameras, safes, valuables, and other things for a more detailed, dynamic robbery.
I think I’m just kinda tired of the villains in Scream acting like normal people most of the movie and then turning a switch where they’re like spitting while yelling and acting like they want to be an Arkham Asylum inmate.
Try a new approach!
Imagine having the pull to get two former United States presidents for your basketball documentary and calling them “Former Chicago Resident” and “Former Arkansas Governor”

“reaction time and tracking that can only be comparable to aimbot”
buddy literally full sprinted into his bullets, the entire block knew where this guy would’ve been based on his footsteps
The idea that Feige is too busy with the MCU to do more Spidey stuff is such bullshit.
He quietly consulted on the TASM series because he cares about the character and wanted Sony to take care of him.
He’s not just going to abandon Spider-Man.
