Last year today, the Government committed to diagnosing 75% of cancers at an early stage by 2028, yet 1 in 10 diagnostic posts remain vacant. This week we, along with seven other charities, wrote to the Prime Minister calling on Government to urgently address the staffing crisis.
We are shocked & saddened by the death of Sir David Amess. David was always a supporter & champion of Cancer Research UK - we were delighted to meet with him again at Conservative Conference only last week. Our thoughts are with his family, friends & colleagues at this awful time
