It does amaze me that an experienced IndyCar race winner is not automatically allowed an F1 seat. If he can punt himself around Indy without being a danger to others, I reckon he'll be ok. Bloody silly system really.

To reinforce my point. The the end fell off this guy's giant syringe used to add oil. Dealt with totally calmly, no panic, no faff, just fixed it and got on with it. No waving of arms or shouting. Super professional.

My take (not that anyone should care) Merc gambled race would end under SC, so didn't pit. That's why Ham lost. The stuff about unlapping cars etc is just noise. RB made up for qually with every call today being the right throw of the dice and were ready to exploit the unexpected

Peugeot said in one of its press releases that the 9X8 used off-the-shelf 48V drone motors. Turns out it was to run this pump (MGU cooling?), which appears to be why the #93 is in the pits. Mechanics looking at a frayed cable but even when replaced, no joy.. #WEC #Peugeot #9X8
