Just received some bad news. Former Big Red head coach Jim Hanifan passed away last night in his sleep. He was 87 years old. I'll pass on more info as I get it and post a tribute later tonight or first thing in the morning. RIP Coach.

Conrad Dobler was a 3x Pro Bowl guard and named Pro Football's dirtiest player in 1977. He was a 5th round pick out of Wyoming in 1972 and played 6 seasons with Cards before finishing career with the Saints and Bills.

Happy birthday Roger Wehrli! The Hall of Famer was a 7x Pro Bowl, 3x All-Pro, and a 1970s NFL All-Decade Performer. The former #Mizzou star was the Big Red top pick in 1969 and is still the team’s all-time leader with 22 fumble recoveries and third in career INTs with 40.

Happy birthday former #BigRed Pro Bowl WR Pat Tilley who led the team in receiving from 1978-1982. Tilley started every game but one from 1978-1985. He caught 66 passes for 1040 yards and three TDs in 1981. It was always said that Tilley was like Denny's: he was always open.
