7 months ago our lives were thrown upside down when Jude was diagnosed with breast cancer- It’s been a long hard road for her with lots of bumps but today we finally got the news that she is CANCER FREE!! We are beyond thrilled and can’t thank all of you enough for your support❤️

We had good news!! Seen the surgeon today and chemo has partially shrunk the cancer and there is no signs of it in the lymph nodes 💪🏻 Surgery on Monday to remove tumours etc (and still Lymph nodes) What a fighter! One more big 🙏 for Monday for @JudeBoydMcVeigh much appreciated❤️

That’s Jude out of surgery and in the ward, Surgeon has said the surgery went well and will let us know in more detail tomorrow 💪🏻 Its just all about her resting and recovering now. We are overwhelmed and so thankful for all the messages and calls today- You are all #TeamJude ❤️

Jude has another big battle to face on Tuesday. Another major surgery to go through. It will be assurance that cancer can’t form there but physically it will be tough,This will likely be Jude’s last @belfastgiants game this season so please give her a high 5 or hug ❤️😃 #TeamJude

Nothing makes me happier than walking into a game of hockey knowing that the cloud of ongoing chemo, surgery and radiotherapy from last season has blown on- There is still some hurdles to overcome but @JudeBoydMcVeigh being able to enjoy this season to the max is priceless ❤️

After meeting the surgeon today they have decided it’s time to move on to surgery for Jude - Her body has been battered with chemo and how she has managed 4 sessions is beyond me - Surgery presents a new challenge but chemo has done it’s job and options and outlook are good ❤️

There are no words anymore - 2nd stint in hospital after chemo already with another infection. One of the most caring, kind people you could meet and it’s just one thing after another. Cancer just sucks
