Thank you baseball for everything. You’ve taught me many lessons and brought me an abundance of joy. I gave you all that I had, and I’m thankful that I got to play this wonderful game.
I always had the dream to play college baseball when I was growing up. Not everyone gets the opportunity to live out those dreams, and I’m truly thankful I still get to play this game.
I’m particularly proud of this PR. Life kinda sucks sometimes, and it can derail you mentally and physically. Not too long ago, I was a mental wreck and felt weak. Small victories like this can help me realize how far I’ve come. 325x1 Reverse Lunge @ 179 lbs.
No one is more deserving of this moment than Daniel Carrillo. Congrats to

on clinching the district title. A lot of hard work went into this, and I’m thankful I could play a small part.
Over the last year, I’ve dealt with anxiety that at times has consumed my life. It’s an ongoing battle that is hard to fight. But after opening up, I’ve realized how common it is and that people are willing to help. I’ve now learned to enjoy each and every day.

As a S&C coach, I will gladly meet with any HS coaches to go over how we can safely return these athletes to performance, and I’m sure others would do the same. Let’s not make this situation harder than it’s already been.

The Cincinnati Reds are on pace to lose 139 games this season.
The Boston Red Sox are on pace to win 132 games this season.
And the Minnesota Twins are on pace to play 123 games this season.
Sad to see this group’s journey end. Really good bunch of guys that I enjoyed getting to work with everyday.
The Sophomore class left their mark for sure, with back to back 40+ win seasons. I’m excited to see them continue their careers as they move on.
I promise that as a coach, I will try to do everything possible to put my athletes in the best situation to situation to succeed. And when we fail, I’ll take it upon myself to figure out what I need to do better.
Just a taste...

I thought about this today. We all know the direction that the world and baseball is going. When I try to explain data’s usefulness to those who mock it, I don’t do it because I want to be right. It’s because I legitimately feel bad for how stubborn and unintelligent they sound.
Watching coaches online fight/argue against data, technology and progressive thinking is kinda like watching a police chase on tv. It’s very entertaining and exciting, but we all know how its gonna end.
How come when I want to change the channel on the tv, I have to have the remote pointed at just the right spot; but when I accidentally sit on the remote under two blankets and a pillow, it'll do anything?
It’s important to remember early in the year that baseball is a long season. There’s no need to panic because of a slow start at the plate or a bad outing on the mound. Prepare to perform, and make small adjustments as needed.
Getting to see God’s love take over in someone else’s life is an incredible experience is that I can’t really describe. Being able share things with others is an important part of our faith. It allows us to gain perspective and understand how we can love each other better.
Congrats to these guys. And to think they almost didn’t get in the tournament, because D3 doesn’t have enough at-large bids. They also shouldn’t have had to play 13 games in 12 days either. Our postseason could use some adjustment.
Bat flip: celebration for doing something good; no one is hurt except the pitcher’s ego.
Throwing at a guy: retaliation for someone celebrating success; could hurt the defenseless hitter and the pitcher’s team.
It shouldn’t go both ways. It’s not even close to the same thing.
“Don’t like the bat flip, don’t give up a tank”
OK, I’m with you BUT
“Don’t want to get hit, don’t flip your bat 40 feet into the dugout”
Goes both ways..
I’ve tried to find the words to say. Words to express how frustrated I am with this country. Words to show my black brothers and sisters that I hear them, and stand by them. Words to describe how humanity seems to just be going in circles, as history repeats itself.
