To me, Daniel Johnston's music was either very heavy or very light. There wasn't a whole lot of in between. His songs either made me laugh or they made me cry. He was brilliant.
Love and best wishes from Paris, Tennessee.
Thank you big fella for giving me so much love for such a long time.
Like many, I miss your grace, kindness and, your words.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your life.

I am extremely grateful that Dan Koretzky and everyone at Drag City came in to David's life roughly thirty years ago. Without Drag City, David's work, as a poet and musician would not have been read or heard. Their artist-label relationship was unique, unprecedented & beautiful.
Pavement will be back at in 2022 with their delayed game plan to tour globally. Be my 10000th follower and you’ll get put on the guest list for either our Aarhus or Stockholm gig. Check this space for tour info as I learn of it. Thanks.
Wikipedia: "Occasionally pop groups include a member up front alongside the lead singer who may perform backup vocals or percussion but largely functions to excite the audience through dancing and/or stage patter. Examples include Bob Nastanovich for Pavement" Yo! I'm a hype man.
To all interested Pavement supporters, should this Prodigy return to action for our September and beyond performances? It has not appeared since ‘95 but is in good working order. Thanks to Steve Good for taking care of it. ♥💃🥰🛶

I think he tried his best and that’s as much or more than we can expect from anyone. It was a pleasure being his friend. I loved him and he was always a welcome sight.
Arguably, the best jockey in the world gets a 14 month suspension and accepts it. Takes it on the chin and vows to correct his path. In the same week, the most celebrated US-based trainer of my now 50 years following the sport of horse racing will not accept a 90 day suspension.
As a young boy, it was a such a privilege and honor to have my father, the late Robert Sr., work with Midge Costanza on President Carter’s White House Staff. He was his Deputy Assistant in the Office Of Public Liaison and admired the President as the good man he is. Bless them.
